Paralelamente, se considerarmos a popula&#231;&#227;o estudantil, constata-se que &#233; uma das principais fontes de pesquisa, nomeadamente para trabalho escolar. Neste contexto, questiona-se o facto de a Wikip&#233;dia, apesar do seu sucesso, ainda n&#227;o fazer parte das salas de aula. Importa, pois, apostar na forma&#231;&#227;o de professores e com eles explorar as potencialidades deste projeto global, o que foi desenvolvido com o projeto local do qual se d&#225; conta neste artigo. Este projeto, que se integra num quadro de forma&#231;&#227;o de professores, decorreu numa escola EB 2/3 do Ensino B&#225;sico no distrito de Lisboa e envolveu duas professoras e duas turmas (6.&#186; e 8.&#186; anos). Adotando a metodologia de projeto, o nosso trabalho foi organizado em torno de quatro fases a saber: diagn&#243;stico; planifica&#231;&#227;o; aplica&#231;&#227;o/execu&#231;&#227;o; avalia&#231;&#227;o. Os dados recolhidos foram analisados com recurso &#224; estat&#237;stica descritiva e &#224; an&#225;lise de conte&#250;do. Das conclus&#245;es obtidas, salienta-se quer o reconhecimento por parte dos professores da pertin&#234;ncia da forma&#231;&#227;o e satisfa&#231;&#227;o final, quer a qualidade do trabalho que desenvolveram nas atividades propostas e consequente trabalho realizado com as respetivas turmas. Constatamos, portanto, que as pr&#225;ticas formativas e pedag&#243;gicas tiveram impacte real no trabalho em sala de aula. Assim, desejamos que possam ser mantidas e alargadas a outros professores e alunos, nomeadamente do ensino b&#225;sico portugu&#234;s.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT There is an undeniable contribution to the democratization of access to information in the Wikipedia. At the same time, if we consider the student population, it is one of the main sources of research, especially for school work. In this context, despite its success, Wikipedia is not yet part of the classrooms. Thus, it is assumed that the teacher should consider the urgency of meeting the increasing challenges of the technological society, and prepare pupils/students for them. It is therefore important to focus on the training of teachers, and to explore with them the potential of Wikipedia, a global project. That is why we developed a local project, which we present in this text. Our project, part of a Teacher Training course, took place in a School in the Lisbon district and involved two teachers and two classes (6th and 8th grade). We adopted the project methodology, so our work was organized in four stages: Diagnosis; Planning; Application/implementation; Evaluation. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics and content analysis. From the results we obtained, we highlight both the recognition by the teachers, with whom we worked, of the relevance of the training and their final satisfaction, as well as the quality of the work they developed in the activities we suggested to them and the work carried out with their pupils. We conclude, therefore, that the formative and pedagogical practices had real impact on the classroom work. Thus, we hope that those practices can be maintained and extended to other teachers and pupils, namely of other Portuguese elementary schools.]]></p></abstract>
