O estudo, decorrente de pesquisas que se prolongam h&#225; mais de uma d&#233;cada, se assenta em uma perspectiva etnogr&#225;fica, em que sensibilidade e raz&#227;o se aliam para construir compreens&#245;es acerca dos modos de educar deste povo, em di&#225;logo com autores que descrevem a educa&#231;&#227;o das crian&#231;as ind&#237;genas em outros tempos e lugares. Constatamos uma educa&#231;&#227;o que considera a dimens&#227;o espiritual, a dimens&#227;o coletiva de uma comunidade que se mostra implicada com a forma&#231;&#227;o da pessoa e uma dimens&#227;o individual, em que cada um se responsabiliza por si, imbu&#237;do por uma busca e por um caminhar.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT  We present in this article reflections made during our sharing experiences with the Guarani people, seeking to understand their own processes of education, which involves children and is responsible for the person's formation. The study derives from researches that have been taking place for over a decade and is based on an ethnographic and collaborative perspective. Reason and sensibility are united to build understandings on the educational ways of this people, dialoguing with authors that describe indigenous children education from other places and times. We verified an education that considers the spiritual dimension, the community's collective dimensions that is implicated in the person's formation, and an individual dimension, in which each is responsible for oneself, imbued by a search and a path.]]></p></abstract>
