Fundamenta-se nos estudos culturais e feministas pós-estruturalistas e nosso objetivo, aqui, é problematizar discursos essencialistas e (des)classificações acerca de sexualidade, gênero e corpo que são veiculados nesse currículo. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa que envolveu a realização de grupos focais e entrevistas semiestruturadas com licenciandos/as e egressos/as desse curso. Com a análise foucaultiana do discurso, evidenciamos o tensionamento da &#8220;natureza&#8221; do corpo e do sexo, no currículo, argumentando que isso produz outros modos de compreensão conceitual e política de gênero e sexualidade, contribuindo para uma formação docente comprometida com a vida e(m) democracia.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The article is part of a research that analyzed speeches about sexuality, gender and body in a Biology Degree curriculum at a public University, based on the incorporation of Sexual Education in the curricular matrix. It is based on post-structuralist cultural and feminist studies and our objective here is to problematize essentialist (dis) classifications about sexuality, gender and body that are conveyed in this curriculum. It is a qualitative research that involved the realization of focus groups and semi-structured interviews with graduates and graduates of this course. With the Foucaultian discourse analysis, we highlight the tension of the &#8220;nature&#8221; of the body and sex, in the curriculum, arguing that this produces other ways of conceptual and political understanding of gender and sexuality, contributing to a teacher education committed to life and (in) democracy.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN El artículo es parte de una investigación que analizó discursos sobre sexualidad, género y cuerpo en un plan de estudios de Licenciatura en Biología en una universidad pública, basado en la incorporación de la Educación Sexual en la matriz curricular. Se basa en estudios culturales y feministas postestructuralistas y nuestro objetivo aquí es problematizar las (des) clasificaciones esencialistas sobre sexualidad, género y cuerpo que se transmiten en este plan de estudios. Es una investigación cualitativa que involucró la realización de grupos focales y entrevistas semiestructuradas con graduados y graduados de este curso. Con el análisis del discurso foucaultiano, destacamos la tensión de la "naturaleza" del cuerpo y el sexo en el plan de estudios, argumentando que esto produce otras formas de comprensión conceptual y política de género y sexualidad, contribuyendo a una educación docente comprometida con la vida y (en) democracia.]]></p></abstract>
