Ao chegar ao Brasil, a crise sanitária encontrou o país em situação de crise político-econômico-social. Aborda-se o impacto dessas crises no contexto escolar, de modo especial o da escola pública, propondo uma reflexão a partir do campo do currículo. Contrapondo-se à ideia de que a recuperação de uma normalidade pós-pandêmica é desejável, busca-se mostrar a necessidade da constituição de um currículo sustentado em uma educação política democrática, que tenha como princípios: o reconhecimento e a valorização dos saberes dos sujeitos do currículo; uma formação profissional e política dos educadores, em destaque em educação em direitos humanos; e um pensamento esperançoso que vislumbre o não-existente para um porvir curricular alternativo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract In the years 2020-2021, the world faced the Covid-19 pandemic. When the virus reached Brazil, health crisis was added to a situation of political, economic and social crisis. This article discusses the impact of these crises in the school context, especially in the public school, proposing a reflection from the field of curriculum. In opposition to the idea that the recovery of a post-pandemic normality is desirable, we aim to present the need to establish a curriculum based on a democratic political education principled in: the recognition and appreciation of the knowledge of subjects of the curriculum; professional and political training for educators highlighting human rights education; and a hopeful thought that seeks the non-existent in an alternative curricular horizon.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El mundo estuvo inmerso en los años 2020-2021 en un escenario de pandemia Covid-19. Al llegar a Brasil, la crisis de salud puso al país en una situación de crisis político-económico-social. Se aborda el impacto de estas crisis en el contexto escolar, especialmente en la escuela pública, proponiendo una reflexión desde el ámbito curricular. Oponiéndose a la idea de que es deseable la "recuperación de una normalidad postpandemia", se pretende mostrar la necesidad de establecer un currículo basado en una educación política democrática, que tenga como principios: el reconocimiento y valoración de los conocimientos de los sujetos del curriculo; formación profesional y política para educadores, con énfasis en la educación en derechos humanos; y un pensamiento esperanzador que vislumbra lo inexistente para un futuro curricular alternativo.]]></p></abstract>
