É uma pesquisa de natureza básica, qualitativa, acompanhada por tratamento quantitativo de dados. Trata-se de um estudo de caso no Curso de Bacharelado em Ciências Militares - Prevenção e Gestão de Catástrofes da Academia de Bombeiros Militar de Minas Gerais. Como resultados, de forma geral, os instrutores aprenderam a ser professor durante o exercício da prática docente, sendo as experiências vividas no ambiente de trabalho de nível operacional levadas para a sala de aula, influenciando diretamente no processo de ensinar. O processo de construção da identidade docente está atrelado a diversos fatores, sejam eles relacionados à individualidade humana, pela consciência da real função do ser docente e o que seria, em si, o ato de ensinar, ou fatores vinculados aos saberes experienciais, pedagógicos, curriculares e disciplinares.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This work presents the process of construction and mobilization of knowledge and expertise inherent to teaching in a military teaching institution. This is a case study in the Bachelor Course in Military Sciences - Prevention and Management of Disasters of the Minas Gerais Military Firefighter Academy, Brazil. As a result, in general, the instructors learned how to be a teacher during the teaching practice, and the experiences lived in the work environment of an operational level were taken to the classroom, directly influencing the teaching process. The construction process of the teaching identity is linked to several factors, whether related to human individuality, awareness of the real function of being a teacher and what the act of teaching would be in itself, or factors linked to experiential, pedagogical, curricular and disciplinary knowledge.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Este trabajo presenta el proceso de construcción y movilización de conocimientos y saberes inherentes al ejercicio de la docencia en una institución de enseñanza militar. Es una investigación de naturaleza básica, cualitativa, acompañada de un tratamiento cuantitativo de datos. Se trata de un estudio de caso en el Bachillerato en Ciencias Militares - Prevención y Gestión de Catástrofes de la Academia de Bomberos Militar de Minas Gerais, Brasil. Como resultados, de forma general, los instructores aprendieron a ser profesores durante el ejercicio de la práctica docente, siendo las experiencias vividas en el ambiente de trabajo del nivel operativo llevadas al aula, incidiendo directamente en el proceso de enseñanza. El proceso de construcción de la identidad docente está ligado a varios factores, ya sean relacionados con la individualidad humana, la conciencia de la función real del ser docente y lo que sería en sí el acto de enseñar, o factores vinculados a los saberes experienciales, pedagógicos, curriculares y disciplinarios.]]></p></abstract>
