O texto decorre da necessidade de agir-se na realidade da pesquisa e da percepção de que a escrita acadêmica, seguida da publicação de resultados das investigações, é uma importante maneira de assumir um posicionamento ativista, conforme defendido por Stetsenko (2021). Após sustentar a necessidade de uma postura de compromisso ético adequado com os processos de pesquisa, apresentam-se reflexões necessárias ao combate a todas as formas de fraude, tais como plágios e autoplágios. Finalmente, argumenta-se que uma epistemologia da destinação deve orientar um posicionamento ético ativista e transformador nas Ciências Humanas e nas pesquisas em Educação.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This work emerged in the midst of reflections built with master&#8217;s and doctoral students participating in the course &#8220;Ethics in Research: challenges and dilemmas in the Human Sciences and Education,&#8221; offered by the Graduate Program in Education at the Faculty of Education of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). The text arises from the need to act within the reality of research and from the perception that academic writing, followed by the publication of research results, is an important way to take an activist stance, as advocated by Stetsenko (2021). After emphasizing the need for an appropriate ethical commitment in research processes, necessary reflections on combating all forms of fraud, such as plagiarism and self-plagiarism, are presented. Finally, it is argued that an epistemology of destination should guide an ethical, activist, and transformative stance in the Human Sciences and Educational research.]]></p></abstract>

El texto se deriva de la necesidad de actuar en la realidad de la investigación y de la percepción de que la escritura académica, seguida de la publicación de los resultados de las investigaciones, es una importante forma de asumir una postura activista, conforme defendido por Stetsenko (2021).
