É fundamentado na pesquisa qualitativa, para responder à seguinte questão central: como se apresentam as concepções e os fundamentos de democracia, democratização e gestão escolar no contexto contemporâneo? Assim, discute os conceitos e os fundamentos de democracia, de pós-democracia e de democratização da gestão escolar. A pesquisa bibliográfica foi o procedimento da metodologia adotada para a análise do contexto e da produção do texto teórico neste artigo, compreendendo que utilizando-se das contribuições dos diversos autores sobre o tema, as concepções e os fundamentos da democracia e da democratização da gestão escolar na atualidade.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The text seeks to deepen the understanding of the concepts and foundations of democracy, highlighting the challenges encountered in contemporary times. It is based on qualitative research, to answer the following central question: how are the conceptions and foundations of democracy, democratization and school management presented in the contemporary context? Thus, it discusses the concepts and foundations of democracy, post-democracy and democratization of school management. Bibliographical research was the procedure of the methodology adopted to analyze the context and production of the theoretical text in this article, understanding that using the contributions of different authors on the subject, the conceptions and foundations of democracy and the democratization of school management nowadays.]]></p></abstract>

Se basa en una investigación cualitativa, para responder a la siguiente pregunta central: ¿cómo se presentan las concepciones y fundamentos de la democracia, la democratización y la gestión escolar en el contexto contemporáneo? Así, se discuten los conceptos y fundamentos de la democracia, la post-democracia y la democratización de la gestión escolar. La investigación bibliográfica fue el procedimiento de la metodología adoptada para analizar el contexto y la producción del texto teórico de este artículo, entendiendo que se utilizan los aportes de diferentes autores sobre el tema, las concepciones y fundamentos de la democracia y la democratización de la gestión escolar en la actualidad.]]></p></abstract>
