Para tanto, analisa-se como o Programa Especial de Forma&#231;&#227;o Pedag&#243;gica de Docentes para a Educa&#231;&#227;o B&#225;sica e Profissional no Instituto Federal de Educa&#231;&#227;o, Ci&#234;ncia e Tecnologia, C&#226;mpus Sert&#227;o promove a profissionaliza&#231;&#227;o docente, fazendo com que os participantes construam uma imagem positiva da profiss&#227;o e adquiram certa autonomia profissional. Como metodologia, adota-se o estudo de caso, com abordagem qualitativa, a partir da percep&#231;&#227;o dos alunos do referido Programa. Os instrumentos empregados para a coleta de dados foram um question&#225;rio estruturado, disponibilizado em ambiente web, com preenchimento on-line, e uma entrevista semiestruturada. Os dados coletados foram submetidos &#224; an&#225;lise de conte&#250;do. Conclui-se que a forma&#231;&#227;o do "ser professor(a)" est&#225; atrelada ao desenvolvimento pessoal e profissional do sujeito, o qual se comp&#245;e de elementos subjetivos e objetivos, que a maioria tem a doc&#234;ncia como atividade profissional principal e/ou complementar; outra parcela tem a pretens&#227;o de atuar na doc&#234;ncia pela carreira profissional e se identificam com a atividade profissional.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article, titled "The structure of the teaching profession: a study with teachers of vocational education" aims to understand how teachers of vocational education are forming their professional identity. Therefore, it analyzes how the Special Program of Pedagogical Training of Teachers for Basic Education and Professional at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology, Campus Sert&#227;o promotes teacher professionalization, causing the participants to build a positive image of the profession and acquire certain professional autonomy. The methodology in the case study adopts a qualitative approach, based on the perception of the students of said program. The tools used for data collection were a structured questionnaire, available on the web, to fill out online and a semi-structured interview. Collected data were subjected to content analysis. It is concluded that the formation of "being a teacher" is linked to personal and professional development of the subject, which is entails subjective and objective elements, considering that most have teaching as their main and/ or supplementary profession; the other group of participants act under the pretense of being professional educators and therefore identify with the profession.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Este art&#237;culo, titulado "La composici&#243;n de la profesi&#243;n docente: un estudio con profesores de la formaci&#243;n profesional" tiene como objetivo comprender c&#243;mo los profesores de la formaci&#243;n profesional est&#225;n construyendo su identidad docente. Por consiguiente, se analiza c&#243;mo el Programa Especial de Formaci&#243;n Pedag&#243;gica de Docentes para la Educaci&#243;n B&#225;sica y Profesional en el Instituto Federal de Educaci&#243;n, Ciencia y Tecnolog&#237;a, Campus Sert&#227;o, promueve la profesionalizaci&#243;n de la ense&#241;anza, haciendo que los participantes construyan una imagen positiva de la profesi&#243;n y adquieran cierta autonom&#237;a profesional. Como metodolog&#237;a se adopta el estudio del tema, con enfoque cualitativo, a partir de la percepci&#243;n de los alumnos de dicho Programa. Los instrumentos empleados para la recogida de datos fueron un cuestionario estructurado, disponible en el entorno web, con cumplimentaci&#243;n en l&#237;nea y una entrevista semiestructurada. Los datos recogidos fueron sometidos a an&#225;lisis de contenido. Se concluye que la formaci&#243;n del "ser profesor(a)" est&#225; ligada al desarrollo personal y profesional del individuo, el cual se compone de elementos subjetivos y objetivos, que la mayor&#237;a tienen la docencia como actividad profesional principal y/o complementaria; otra parte tiene el prop&#243;sito de ejercer la ense&#241;anza por la carrera profesional y se identifica con la actividad profesional.]]></p></abstract>
