O poeta alemão tem uma cosmovisão monista da realidade, considerando não existir matéria sem espírito e espírito sem matéria, opondo-se, portanto, à visão mecanicista, fragmentária e manipulativa expressa na visão cientificista da modernidade. A unidade entre natureza e espírito cumpre um papel nodal na sua teoria, pois parte da compreensão do mundo de uma forma abrangente e totalizadora. Em razão disso, a interação com a natureza não pode ser ignorada ou compreendida como uma ação manipulativa do sujeito sobre a mesma. O conhecimento nasce da inter-relação recíproca entre sujeito e natureza e a formação do ser humano depende do procedimento participativo que envolve a interação intensa e sensível com ela. Para tanto, o poeta afirma que é necessário desenvolver uma reflexibilidade criativa e crítica sobre a experiência em desenvolvimento. Considera que a Urform, a forma básica de que todas as coisas se originam, pertence à natureza, trazendo assim, uma importante e desafiadora contribuição para uma revisão da relação entre natureza e formação humana. O resgate da compreensão da natureza de Goethe implica em discutir o próprio conceito de ser humano que está implícito em seus estudos e em sua arte.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract For Goethe, nature plays a decisive role in human formation. The German poet has a monist worldview of reality, considering that there is no matter without spirit and spirit without matter, opposing, therefore, the mechanistic, fragmentary and manipulative vision expressed in the scientific vision of modernity. The unity between nature and spirit plays a nodal role in his theory, since he starts from the understanding of the world in a comprehensive and totalizing way. Because of this, interaction with nature cannot be ignored or understood as a manipulative action of the subject over it. Knowledge is born from the reciprocal interrelation between subject and nature, and the formation of the human being depends on the participatory procedure that involves the intense and sensitive interaction with it. To this end, the poet states that it is necessary to develop a creative and critical reflexivity about the developing experience. He considers that Urform, the basic form from which all things originate, belongs to nature, thus bringing an important and challenging contribution to a revision of the relationship between nature and human formation. The rescue of Goethe's understanding of nature implies in discussing the very concept of human being that is implicit in his studies and in his art.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Para Goethe, la naturaleza desempeña un papel decisivo en la formación humana. El poeta alemán tiene una cosmovisión monista de la realidad, considerando que no hay materia sin espíritu ni espíritu sin materia, oponiéndose, por tanto, a la visión mecanicista, fragmentaria y manipuladora expresada en la visión científica de la modernidad. La unidad entre la naturaleza y el espíritu juega un papel nodal en su teoría, ya que parte de la comprensión del mundo de forma global y totalizadora. Por ello, la interacción con la naturaleza no puede ignorarse ni entenderse como una acción manipuladora del sujeto sobre ella. El conocimiento nace de la interrelación recíproca entre el sujeto y la naturaleza y la formación del ser humano depende del procedimiento participativo que supone la interacción intensa y sensible con ella.
