Objetivou-se tornar mais atraentes e eficazes as aulas de produção de texto em Língua Portuguesa, tomando-se como corpus de análise notícias inéditas redigidas por alunos e postadas no Facebook, rede social largamente utilizada por eles. O projeto deu voz aos alunos que expuseram suas pesquisas e seus pontos de vista acerca de temas por eles considerados importantes. O Facebook funcionou como uma ferramenta pedagógica atual, facilitadora do processo, e como estratégia de ensino motivadora dos discentes.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT This paper reports an experience fulfilled with a group of third high school series from a public school at Sao Paulo, within the activities from the Scholarship Program of Introduction to Teaching (PIBID), provided by CAPES. It was aimed to render writing classes in Portuguese more attractive and effective, by using unpublished news written by the students and posted on Facebook, social network widely used by them, as an analysis corpus. This project gave voice to the students that were able to expose their researches and points of view about different themes they considered relevant. Facebook worked as a modern pedagogical tool, facilitator of the process, and as a teaching strategy that motivated the students.]]></p></abstract>
