Trata-se de um recorte amostral cujo objetivo geral foi identificar tendências nas concepções de tecnologia na educação. A partir de uma análise de conteúdo temática de cerca de duzentos trabalhos de revistas científicas do estrato Qualis A Educação, foram definidas sete categorias de abordagens de pesquisa e quatro tipos de rótulos da tecnologia educacional. O artigo apresenta um cenário constituído por grande número de abordagens teóricas e de expressões que dão margem para inúmeras interpretações e pouca relação perceptível com questões educacionais. Concluímos elencando alguns pontos sensíveis que merecem atenção especial na área da EdTech.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article discusses labels and research approaches mapped in academic literature in Portuguese in the area of Education and Technology. The discussion draws upon findings obtained in an investigation that aimed at identifying trends in conceptions of technology in education. Based upon a thematic content analysis of approximately 200 articles published in Qualis-A journals, 7 categories of research approaches and 4 broad types of educational technology labels were identified. The article presents a scenario constituted by a great diversity of theoretical approaches and expressions that are open to numerous interpretations and little tangible relation with educational questions. The article concludes with comments on sensitive points that deserve special attention in the area of EdTech.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Este artículo analiza las etiquetas y los enfoques de investigación en la literatura académica en línea en inglés en el área de Educación y Tecnología. Se trata de un recorte de los hallazgos obtenidos en una investigación cuyo objetivo general fue identificar tendencias en las concepciones de tecnología en la educación. A partir de un análisis de contenido temático de aproximadamente 200 artículos de revistas en el estrato Qualis A Educación, se encontraron siete categorías de enfoques de investigación, así como 4 tipos de rótulos de la tecnología educativa. El artículo presenta un escenario constituido por gran diversidad de abordajes teóricos y de expresiones que dan margen a innumerables interpretaciones y poca relación tangible con cuestiones educativas. Concluimos enumerando algunos puntos sensibles que merecen atención especial en el área de EdTech.]]></p></abstract>
