Na educação especial a formação ainda oferece a diminuição das lacunas na qualidade da educação. O presente artigo apresenta um Programa de Formação Continuada no uso da comunicação alternativa (CA) para professores do Atendimento Educacional Especializado. É fruto de uma etapa de pesquisa de doutorado quando se analisaram os efeitos da autoscopia na prática docente. Verificaram-se as consequências do uso da comunicação alternativa nas relações interativas no cotidiano escolar dos estudantes com Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA) e suas professoras. Os resultados sinalizaram um aumento nas interações dos estudantes com TEA e suas professoras. Os estudantes começaram a fazer uso dos cartões de CA em sala de aula, tendo o PECS-Adaptado como um eficaz sistema.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Teacher training contributes to professional development and participation in movements for the fight for social justice. In Special Education, training still offers the reduction of gaps in the quality of education. This article presents a Continuing Education Program in the use of Alternative Communication (CA) for teachers of Specialized Educational Services. It is the result of a stage of a doctoral research in which the effects of autoscopy on teaching practice were analyzed. The consequences of using Alternative Communication in interactive relationships in the daily school life of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (TEA) and their teachers were verified. The results signaled an increase in student interactions with ASD and their teachers. Students began to use AC in the classroom, with PECS-Adapted as an effective system.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen La formación del profesorado contribuye al desarrollo profesional y la participación en movimientos de lucha por la justicia social. En Educación Especial, la formación todavía ofrece la reducción de brechas en la calidad de la educación. Este artículo presenta un Programa de Educación Continua en el uso de la comunicación alternativa (CA) para docentes de Servicios Educativos Especializados. Es el resultado de una etapa de una investigación doctoral en la que se analizaron los efectos de la autoscopia en la práctica docente. Se verificaron las consecuencias del uso de la comunicación alternativa en las relaciones interactivas en la vida escolar diaria de los estudiantes con Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA) y sus profesores. Los resultados señalaron un aumento en las interacciones de los estudiantes con ASD y sus maestros. Los estudiantes comenzaron a utilizar tarjetas CA en el aula, con PECS-Adapted como un sistema eficaz.]]></p></abstract>
