No entanto, poucos estudos dedicaram-se a analisar sua atua&#231;&#227;o ap&#243;s sua volta ao Pa&#237;s. Este &#233; o objetivo deste estudo - destacar a rela&#231;&#227;o dos Jesu&#237;tas com a forma&#231;&#227;o escolar das elites no per&#237;odo republicano. Nesse sentido analisou-se, os condicionantes do reingresso da Companhia de Jesus ao Brasil, a implanta&#231;&#227;o dos seus educand&#225;rios e as diretrizes pedag&#243;gicas que difundiram com base no Ratium Studiorum o que produziu grupos homog&#234;neos e distintos socialmente. Demonstra-se, neste sentido, que os jesu&#237;tas buscaram formar escolarmente as elites da Rep&#250;blica no Brasil. ]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  The Society of Jesus is remembered, both in historical analysis, as in the popular imagination, for his missionary work and education during the colonial period in Brazil. However, few studies devoted to analyzing his performance after his return to the country. This is the purpose of this study - to highlight the relationship of the Jesuits with the education of elites in the republican period. In this sense, we analyzed the conditions of the reinstatement of the Society of Jesus in Brazil, the implementation of its gymnasiums and pedagogical guidelines that broadcast based on Ratium Studiorum which produced socially homogeneous and distinct groups. It is shown, in this sense, the Jesuits sought to train the elite of the Republic in Brazil. ]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen  La Compa&#241;&#237;a de Jes&#250;s es recordada, tanto en los an&#225;lisis hist&#243;ricos, como en el imaginario popular, por su actuaci&#243;n misionaria y educativa durante el periodo colonial en Brasil. Sin embargo, pocos estudios se han dedicado a analizar su actuaci&#243;n despu&#233;s de su regreso al Pa&#237;s. Este es el objetivo de este estudio -destacar la relaci&#243;n de los Jesuitas con la formaci&#243;n escolar de las elites en el periodo republicano. En este sentido se analiz&#243;, los condicionantes del reingreso de la Compa&#241;&#237;a de Jes&#250;s al Brasil, la implantaci&#243;n de sus educadores y las directrices pedag&#243;gicas que difundieron con base en el Ratium Studiorum lo que produjo grupos homog&#233;neos y distintos socialmente.
