No entanto, &#233; recente a aten&#231;&#227;o concedida a sua constitui&#231;&#227;o nas universidades, cujo enfoque reside no processo de institucionaliza&#231;&#227;o dos cursos de Hist&#243;ria nas d&#233;cadas de 1930 e 1940. Os anos que antecederam ao golpe civil-militar de 1964 se caracterizaram por amplas discuss&#245;es em rela&#231;&#227;o &#224;s mudan&#231;as necess&#225;rias nos cursos ent&#227;o vigentes. Analisamos o lugar reservado a forma&#231;&#227;o do professor nas discuss&#245;es realizadas no Primeiro Simp&#243;sio de Professores de Hist&#243;ria do Ensino Superior (1961) e a configura&#231;&#227;o dos cursos de Hist&#243;ria na primeira metade da d&#233;cada de 1960. A an&#225;lise dos Anais permite observar que uma s&#233;rie de disputas pol&#237;ticas e historiogr&#225;ficas caracterizaram o Primeiro Simp&#243;sio e que os cursos de Hist&#243;ria estavam em pleno processo de discuss&#227;o sobre diferentes modelos de forma&#231;&#227;o. ]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  The teaching of History in Brazil and its history as a school subject finds a consolidated place in the educational literature and historiography. However, the attention given to its establishment in universities, whose focus lies in the institutionalization process of History courses in the 1930s and 1940s, is recent. The years leading up to the civil-military coup of 1964 are characterized by extensive discussions regarding the necessary changes in the then current courses. We looked at the place reserved for teacher education in the discussions at the First University Education History Teachers Symposium (1961) and the configuration of History courses in the first half of the 1960s. The analysis of the proceedings can observe that a series of political and historiographical disputes characterized the First Symposium and the history courses were in the process of discussion of different models of training. ]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen  La ense&#241;anza de Historia en Brasil y su Historia como asignatura escolar ellos tienem lugar consolidado en la literatura educacional e historiogr&#225;fica. Sin embargo, es reciente la atenci&#243;n concedida a su constituici&#243;n en universidades, cuyo enfoque reside en el proceso de institucionalizaci&#243;n de los cursos de Historia en las d&#233;cadas de 1930 y 1940. Los a&#241;os que antecedieron al golpe civil-militar de 1964 se caracterizaron por largas discusiones con relaci&#243;n a los cambios neces&#225;rios en los cursos vigentes en aquel momento. Analisamos o lugar reservado a la formaci&#243;n de profesores em las discusiones realizadas en el Primer Simposio de Profesores de Historia de Educaci&#243;n Superior (1961) y la configuraci&#243;n de los cursos de Historia a mediados de la d&#233;cada de 1960. El an&#225;lisis de los Anales permite observar que una serie de disputas pol&#237;ticas e historiogr&#225;ficas caracterizaron el Primer Simposio y que los cursos de Historia estaban en absoluto proceso de discusi&#243;n acerca de diferentes modelos de formaci&#243;n. ]]></p></abstract>
