Nesse texto, analisamos algumas questões sobre esse currículo, dando destaque para a questão da ação docente. Nosso intuito é procurar evidências sobre como esse currículo, prescrito há tanto tempo, ainda persiste como um guia do trabalho docente nas escolas paulistas e que repercussões são percebidas na atuação e no desenvolvimento profissional dos professores. A análise indica que o Programa São Paulo Faz Escola está pautado numa política neoliberal, quantificando o ensino com avaliações externas e com a sistematização da meritocracia que responsabiliza os docentes pela falta de qualidade da escola pública e afeta, diretamente, a autonomia dos professores.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The São Paulo State Department of Education (SEESP), created the São Paulo Faz Escola Program (SPFE), which was implemented in 2008 and still today (2019), it&#8217;s in force in the state school system of São Paulo. In this text we analyze some questions about this curriculum, highlighting the issue of teaching action. Our aim is to look for evidence on how this long-prescribed curriculum still persists as a guide of teaching work in schools in São Paulo and which repercussions are perceived in the performance and professional development of teachers. The analysis indicates that the São Paulo Faz Escola Program is based on a neoliberal policy quantifying teaching with external evaluations and the systematization of meritocracy that blames the lack of quality of the public school and directly affects the autonomy of teachers.]]></p></abstract>
