Para tanto apresentamos uma abordagem a partir da gram&#225;tica normativa em oposi&#231;&#227;o &#224; gram&#225;tica moderna, bem como a maneira com que esta tem&#225;tica se mostra nos livros did&#225;ticos do ensino fundamental, enfocando a vis&#227;o variacionista da l&#237;ngua, segundo a qual as regras de concord&#226;ncia s&#227;o vari&#225;veis e podem ser concretizadas ou n&#227;o em fun&#231;&#227;o de diferentes e diversos fatores lingu&#237;sticos e extralingu&#237;sticos. Por fim, apresentaremos ainda sugest&#245;es de atividades que possibilitam esta discuss&#227;o em sala de aula, visando proporcionar ao aluno uma aprendizagem em que sejam considerados todos os aspectos da l&#237;ngua, sejam eles pautados nos ensinos da gram&#225;tica normativa ou na sociolingu&#237;stica variacionista.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The purpose of this article is to foster the discussion of the language variations regarding the occurrences of verbal agreement. Therefore present an approach of the normative grammar as opposed to modern grammar and the manner in which this subject is shown in textbooks of elementary school focusing on the variationist view of the language, according to which the agreement rules are variables and can be implemented or not as a function of different and diverse linguistic and extra- linguistic factors. Finally, still present suggestions of activities that enable this discussion in the classroom in order to provide the student with learning which are considered all aspects of the language, whether guided the teachings of the normative grammar or sociolinguistic variationist.]]></p></abstract>
