O presente estudo teve como objetivo investigar as possíveis barreiras na acessibilidade relacionadas ao processo estabelecido para realização do Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio, pelas pessoas com deficiência visual. Por meio de pesquisa qualitativa, este estudo exploratório contou com a participação de 29 pessoas com deficiência visual que realizaram o exame em 10 estados distintos, além da análise de documentos oficiais. Os resultados apontaram barreiras no acesso à informação, bem como barreiras tecnológicas e atitudinais no exame. Além disso, também indicaram que as questões de acessibilidade não estavam restritas ao atendimento especializado no momento da prova, existindo barreiras em etapas anteriores e posteriores à realização do exame. Com base no diagnostico obtido, foram recomendadas ações para melhoria da equidade no Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio para pessoa com deficiência visual.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Large-scale assessments should consider the characteristics and specificities of those evaluated, offering adequate accessibility so that conditions of equity among participants are guaranteed. This study aimed to investigate the possible barriers to accessibility related to the process established, for people with visual impairments, in taking the Brazilian National High School Examination. Through qualitative research, this exploratory study had the participation of 29 people with visual impairment who took the exam, from 10 different Brazilian states, in addition to the analysis of official documents. The results showed barriers in information access, as well as technological and attitudinal barriers in the exam, in addition, the results also indicated that accessibility issues were not restricted to specialized care at the time of the test, with barriers existing in stages before and after the completion of the test. Based on the diagnosis obtained, actions were recommended to improve equity in the Brazilian National High School Examination.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Las evaluaciones a gran escala deben considerar las características y especificidades de los evaluados, ofreciendo un adecuado acceso a la evaluación, de modo que tenga condiciones de equidad entre los participantes. El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo investigar las posibles barreras en la accesibilidad relacionadas con el proceso establecido para la realización del Examen Nacional de Enseñanza Media, por personas con deficiencia visual. A través de una investigación cualitativa, este estudio exploratorio contó con la participación de 29 personas con discapacidad visual que se sometieron al examen en 10 diferentes estados brasileños y análisis de documentos oficiales. Los resultados mostraron barreras en el acceso a la información, tecnológicas y actitudinales en el examen, además, los resultados también indicaron que los problemas de accesibilidad no se restringieron a la atención especializada en el momento del examen, con barreras antes y después del examen. Con base en el diagnóstico obtenido, se recomendaron acciones para mejorar la equidad en el Examen Nacional de Enseñanza Media.]]></p></abstract>
