A dislexia, dessa forma, está vinculada ao entendimento do ser humano, o que envolve indagações sobre quem somos; como se processa a memória e, conseqüentemente, o pensamento/linguagem; como aprendemos e do porquê das dificuldades no processo individual de aprendizado, o que representa um dos desafios deste século. Os operadores cognitivos são utilizados, no texto, para realçar o que propomos para aprimorar o processo de aprendizagem. Por meio deles, visamos a uma política pública de inclusão e de respeito às diferenças individuais dos disléxicos. Recomenda-se, assim, mudança na formação inicial em que se propiciem momentos de reflexão dos futuros docentes para viabilidade de currículos mais flexíveis e de práticas inovadoras que atendam às necessidades dos estudantes disléxicos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[This article seeks to present ideas about the complexity of the teaching-learning process in which the subject is dyslexic. Dyslexia is linked to the understanding of the human being, which involves questions about who we are, how the memory, and consequently thought/language are processed, how we learn, and the reasons for difficulties in the learning process of the individual, which is one of the challenges of this century. Cognitive operators are used in the text to highlight our proposal for improving the learning process. Through these operations, we promote a public policy of inclusion and respect for the individual differences of dyslexic students. Thus, a change is recommended in the initial training, providing moments of reflection for teachers on the future feasibility of more flexible curricula and innovative practices that will meet the needs of dyslexic students.]]></p></abstract>
