O presente trabalho fundamenta-se, primordialmente, em Dewey (1960), Freire (1997), Sch&#246;n (2000), Pimenta (2002) e Zapata (2004). A metodologia da pesquisa pauta-se em relatos de experi&#234;ncia docente, assentados numa revis&#227;o bibliogr&#225;fica. Sendo assim, espera-se que os resultados obtidos possam evidenciar a relev&#226;ncia do professor reflexivo e da epistemologia da pr&#225;tica no contexto escolar, tendo em vista as contribui&#231;&#245;es &#224; forma&#231;&#227;o docente e &#224; consequente melhoria dos processos de ensino e aprendizagem.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract:  This article presents some thoughts on the reflective teacher as the impulse for the epistemology of practice, in order to support the ongoing training of teachers, as an essential condition for achieving quality of professional practice. This work is based primarily on Dewey (1960), Freire (1997), Sch&#246;n (2000), Pimenta (2002) and Zapata (2004). The research methodology is based on reports of teaching experience, and on a literature review. It is hoped that the results will demonstrate the importance of the reflective teacher and practice of epistemology in the school context, in view of the contributions to teacher training and a consequent improvement of teaching and learning processes.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen:  Este art&#237;culo tiene como objetivo presentar algunas reflexiones sobre el profesor reflexivo como impulso a la epistemolog&#237;a de la pr&#225;ctica, con el fin de apoyar la formaci&#243;n continuada de los profesores, condici&#243;n esencial para la obtenci&#243;n de la calidad en la pr&#225;ctica profesional. Este trabajo se basa principalmente en Dewey (1960), Freire (1997), Sch&#246;n (2000), Pimenta (2002) y Zapata (2004). La metodolog&#237;a de investigaci&#243;n se pauta en informes de la experiencia docente, establecidos sobre una revisi&#243;n de la literatura. As&#237;, se espera que los resultados obtenidos puedan mostrar la relevancia del profesor reflexivo y de la pr&#225;ctica de la epistemolog&#237;a en el contexto de la escuela, considerando las contribuciones a la formaci&#243;n del profesorado y a la consiguiente mejor&#237;a de los procesos de ense&#241;anza y aprendizaje.]]></p></abstract>
