Nesse aspecto, o presente artigo busca compreender o conceito de criatividade e sua relev&#226;ncia na forma&#231;&#227;o continuada de professores do ensino fundamental. Esta discuss&#227;o &#233; fruto de um recorte da fundamenta&#231;&#227;o te&#243;rica de disserta&#231;&#227;o de Mestrado em Educa&#231;&#227;o da Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT) que se apoiou na abordagem qualitativa de car&#225;ter explorat&#243;rio. A pesquisa apontou a necessidade de uma forma&#231;&#227;o que prima pelas bases te&#243;ricas da criatividade, na constante busca da ressignifica&#231;&#227;o e da aprendizagem, bem como o fazer mais aberto e din&#226;mico. Esses aspectos sinalizam que a criatividade carece ser assumida como um valor educativo e um bem social para haver professores e estudantes criativos atentando para as quest&#245;es sociais, pol&#237;ticas, econ&#244;micas, educacionais e planet&#225;rias. Ou seja, cidad&#227;os que est&#227;o preocupados consigo mesmo e com a melhoria de toda a sociedade. Portanto, &#233; indispens&#225;vel formar professores com consci&#234;ncia e atitudes ampliadas para transformar situa&#231;&#245;es adversas em a&#231;&#245;es criativas. E isto implica admitir uma pr&#225;tica cr&#237;tica e construtiva de novos conhecimentos para o fazer compartilhado de novos significados para dimens&#227;o formativa na atualidade.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: Creativity in the continuing education of teachers, from an educational perspective, as a social asset based on (re) thinking, (re) planning and (re) assigning new meaning, in both learning and teaching, is urgent nowadays. This article seeks to understand the concept of creativity and its relevance in the continuing education of elementary school teachers. This discussion is the result of a part of the theoretical foundation for the Master's dissertation in Education of the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT), which used a qualitative exploratory approach. The survey highlighted the need for a training that emphasizes the theoretical bases of creativity, in constant pursuit of new meaning, and learning, and to make it more open and dynamic. These aspects indicate that creativity needs to be taken on board as an educational value and a social asset, in order to create creative teachers and students who are aware of social, political, economic, educational and planetary issues. In other words, citizens who are concerned with themselves and with the betterment of society as a whole. Therefore, it is essential to train teachers with awareness and extended attitudes to transform adverse situations in creative actions. This means accepting a critical and constructive practice of new knowledge, in order to create shared meanings for today&#8217;s formative dimension.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: Es urgente en nuestro tiempo la creatividad en la formaci&#243;n continua de los profesores desde el punto de vista educativo como un bien social pautado en el (re) pensar, (re) planear y (re) significar, tanto del aprendizaje como de la ense&#241;anza. En este sentido, este art&#237;culo trata de entender el concepto de la creatividad y su relevancia en la formaci&#243;n continua de los profesores de la escuela primaria. Esta discusi&#243;n es el resultado de un recorte de la fundamentaci&#243;n te&#243;rica de una tesis de Maestr&#237;a en Educaci&#243;n de la Universidad Federal de Tocantins (UFT), que se bas&#243; en un enfoque cualitativo de car&#225;cter exploratorio. La investigaci&#243;n mostr&#243; la necesidad de una formaci&#243;n que se destaca por las bases te&#243;ricas de la creatividad, la b&#250;squeda constante de la reformulaci&#243;n y el aprendizaje, as&#237; como una acci&#243;n m&#225;s abierta y din&#225;mica. Estos aspectos indican que la creatividad debe ser tomada como un valor educativo y un bien social para que haya profesores y estudiantes creativos que presten atenci&#243;n a las cuestiones sociales, pol&#237;ticas, econ&#243;micas, educativas y planetarias. Es decir, ciudadanos que se preocupan consigo mismos y con la mejor&#237;a de la sociedad en su conjunto. Por lo tanto, es esencial capacitar a los maestros con conciencia y actitudes ampliadas para transformar situaciones adversas en acciones creativas. Y eso significa aceptar una pr&#225;ctica cr&#237;tica y constructiva de nuevos conocimientos para un hacer compartido de nuevos significados para la nueva dimensi&#243;n formativa en la actualidad.]]></p></abstract>
