As decisões tomadas nesses momentos têm relação direta com a atuação do professor e os rumos que podem tomar seus próprios alunos. Em seu livro Pedagogia da Autonomia, Paulo Freire (2017) nos traz, dentre outros saberes elencados por ele como necessários à prática docente, o bom senso e a ética. Este artigo tem como objetivo problematizar a atuação docente, apontando-a como algo que vai além das atribuições a ela destinadas. Além disso, traz os conceitos de bom senso e ética na visão freireana e a reflexão sobre sua influência na atuação prática do docente e as formas de efetivamente torná-los aplicáveis ao professor. A pesquisa, de cunho qualitativo, analisa os dizeres de três professoras da Educação Básica acerca de &#8220;bom senso&#8221; e &#8220;ética&#8221;, buscando perceber de que maneira identificam a materialidade dos conceitos em sua prática pedagógica.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: Teachers face situations on a daily basis that go beyond the barrier of actions related exclusively to their pedagogical and teaching practice. The decisions made at these times are directly related to the teacher's actions and the directions his or her students may take. In his work Pedagogy of Autonomy, Paulo Freire (2017) brings, among other knowledge that he deems necessary for teaching practice, common sense and ethics. The aim of this article is to investigate teaching performance, viewing it as something that goes beyond the attributions assigned to it. It also addresses the concepts of common sense and ethics in the Freirean view, and reflects on their influence on the practical action of the teacher and how than can effectively be made applicable to the teacher. This qualitative research analyses the words of three Basic Education teachers on "common sense" and "ethics", seeking to understand how they identify the materiality of these concepts in their pedagogical practice.]]></p></abstract>

Las decisiones tomadas en esos momentos tienen relación directa con la actuación del profesor y los rumbos que pueden tomar a sus propios alumnos. En su libro Pedagogía de la Autonomía, Paulo Freire (2017) nos trae entre otros saberes que son necesarios para la práctica docente, el sentido común y la ética. Este artículo tiene como objetivo, problematizar la actuación docente, apuntándola como algo que va más allá de las atribuciones a ella destinadas.
