A pesquisa teve como objetivo investigar a intolerância religiosa na perspectiva de uma educação para as relações étnico-raciais no referido centro. Trata-se de uma abordagem qualitativa, mediante a análise de dados oriundos de estudo dirigido e questionários junto a professores e alunos(as) de turmas de Educação de Jovens e Adultos/Educação Pro&#64257;ssional dessa instituição. Como suporte teórico para embasar as discussões dialogou-se com: Munanga (2000 e 2012), Santos (2008) e Gomes (2005), assim como documentos de fundamentação legal. Como principais conclusões aponta-se que os direitos básicos de cidadania, constitucionalmente garantidos desde 1988 no Brasil, não são, de fato, acessíveis a contingentes expressivos da comunidade escolar, em especial da população negra e daqueles de religiões de origem africana e aponta-se para a necessidade de revisar as práticas racistas veladas no cotidiano escolar, além de desvelar o silêncio sobre a questão étnico-racial e religiosidade.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: This work is part of the debate in the &#64257;eld of racial relations with the focus "Education and religious diversity: a study in the Territorial Center for Professional Education (Cetep) - Sertão Produtivo, Caetité, Bahia". The research aimed to investigate religious intolerance from the perspective of education for ethnic-racial relations in that center. It is a qualitative approach, through the analysis of data from a directed study and questionnaires with teachers and students of Youth and Adult Education/Vocational Education classes of this institution. As theoretical support to support the discussions, I dialogued with: Munanga (2000 and 2012), Santos (2008) and Gomes (2005), as well as documents with legal grounds. As main conclusions it is pointed out that the basic citizenship rights constitutionally guaranteed since 1988 in Brazil are not, in fact, accessible to expressive contingents of the school community, especially the black population and those of African origin religions, and it is pointed out to the need to review veiled racist practices in everyday school life and unveil the silence on the ethnic-racial issue and religiosity.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: Este trabajo es parte del debate en el campo de las relaciones raciales con el enfoque &#8220;Educación y diversidad religiosa: un estudio en el Centro Territorial de Educación Profesional (Cetep) - Sertão Productivo, Caetité, Bahia&#8221;. La investigación tuvo como objetivo investigar la intolerancia religiosa desde la perspectiva de la educación para las relaciones étnico-raciales en ese centro. Es un enfoque cualitativo, mediante el análisis de datos de un estudio dirigido y cuestionarios con profesores y alumnos de las clases de Educación de Jóvenes y Adultos / Educación Vocacional de esta institución. Como soporte teórico para sustentar las discusiones, dialogamos con: Munanga (2000 y 2012), Santos (2008) y Gomes (2005), así como documentos con fundamento legal. Como principales conclusiones se señala que los derechos ciudadanos básicos garantizados constitucionalmente desde 1988 en Brasil, no son, de hecho, accesibles a contingentes expresivos de la comunidad escolar, especialmente la población negra y de religiones de origen africano, y se señala a la necesidad de revisar las prácticas racistas veladas en la vida escolar cotidiana y de revelar el silencio sobre la cuestión étnico-racial y la religiosidad.]]></p></abstract>
