Embora em muitos contextos haver maior utilização de tal conceito, poucos estudos demonstram como tem sido sua utilização no campo científico, isto é, qual tem sido o estado da arte na análise dessa conceituação. Assim, objetivamos analisar o estado da arte das produções acadêmicas que abordam o conceito de Epistemologia da Prática em teses e dissertações publicadas no Brasil, buscando compreender os aspectos quantitativos e qualitativos a esse respeito, no decorrer do recorte temporal de 1999 até 2018, baseado no Catálogo de Teses e Dissertações da CAPES. Os resultados da análise de um total de 98 trabalhos encontrados permitem concluir que a perspectiva da Epistemologia da Prática tem apresentado certa inserção no âmbito das pesquisas na pós-graduação brasileira, especialmente na última década, o que ilustra a proeminência da abordagem desse conceito atualmente. Apesar disso, é fundamental que haja análises criteriosas acerca de suas potencialidades e limitações, bem como considera-se importante haver investimento maior na fundamentação teórica que subsidie os trabalhos de modo mais apropriado.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: Currently, there are many concepts concerning to the concept of epistemology, such as the construct called &#8220;epistemology of practice&#8221;. Although in many contexts there has been greater use of this concept, few studies demonstrate how it has been used in the scientific field, that is, what the state of art has been in the analysis of this concept. Thus, we aim to analyze the state of art of academic productions that address the concept of Epistemology of Practice in theses and dissertations published in Brazil, seeking to understand the quantitative and qualitative aspects in this regard during the period from 1999 to 2018, based on the Catalog of Theses and Dissertations from CAPES. The results of the analysis of a total of 98 studies found allow us to conclude that the perspective of the epistemology of practice has shown some insertion in the scope of research in Brazilian graduate studies, especially in the last decade, which illustrates the prominence of the approach to this concept. currently. Despite this, it is essential that there are careful analyzes about their potentials and limitations, as well as it is considered important to have greater investment in the theoretical foundation that supports the work in a more appropriate way.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN: Actualmente, existen muchos conceptos relacionados con el concepto de epistemología, como el constructo denominado &#8220;epistemología de la práctica&#8221;. Si bien en muchos contextos ha habido un mayor uso de este concepto, pocos estudios demuestran cómo se ha utilizado en el campo científico, es decir, cuál ha sido el estado del arte en el análisis de este concepto. Así, buscamos analizar el estado del arte de las producciones académicas que abordan el concepto de Epistemología de la Práctica en las tesis y disertaciones publicadas en Brasil, buscando comprender los aspectos cuantitativos y cualitativos al respecto durante el período de 1999 a 2018, con base en del Catálogo de Tesis y Disertaciones de CAPES. Los resultados del análisis de un total de 98 trabajos encontrados permiten concluir que la perspectiva de la epistemología de la práctica ha mostrado cierta inserción en el ámbito de la investigación en los estudios de posgrado brasileños, especialmente en la última década, lo que ilustra el protagonismo del enfoque a este concepto. A pesar de ello, es fundamental que existan análisis cuidadosos sobre sus potencialidades y limitaciones, así como también se considera importante tener una mayor inversión en la base teórica que sustenta el trabajo de una manera más adecuada.]]></p></abstract>
