Para tanto, participaram cinco professoras e 24 crian&#231;as com idades entre tr&#234;s e cinco anos. Inicialmente, foram aplicadas e avaliadas as escalas de empenho do adulto e de envolvimento da crian&#231;a. Em seguida, as professoras participaram de um curso de forma&#231;&#227;o em m&#250;sica, com carga hor&#225;ria de 100 horas e, ap&#243;s o mesmo, houve um acompanhamento semanal das docentes durante cinco semanas. Finalizado o procedimento de interven&#231;&#227;o, as professoras e as crian&#231;as foram reavaliadas pelos instrumentos citados. Os resultados indicaram melhora nos n&#237;veis de empenho dos professores e de envolvimento da crian&#231;a, contudo as atividades musicais continuaram incipientes na rotina institucional. Novos estudos s&#227;o necess&#225;rios para efetivar a inser&#231;&#227;o efetiva da linguagem musical na educa&#231;&#227;o infantil, al&#233;m disso, deve-se considerar que capacita&#231;&#245;es mais aligeiradas, mesmo contendo conte&#250;do significativo, podem n&#227;o ser suficientes, para consolidar a aprendizagem dessa importante linguagem para o desenvolvimento da crian&#231;a pequena. ]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  This study aims to identify variations in the commitment of teachers from children&#8217;s institutions, as well as the involvement of children, before and after an intervention, focused on learning music content. For this purpose, five teachers and 24 children aged between three and five years participated. Initially, it was applied and evaluated the adult commitment scale and the child involvement scale. The teachers then attended a training course in music, with a workload of 100 hours, followed by a weekly monitoring of teachers for five weeks. After completion of the intervention procedure, the teachers and children were assessed again by the abovementioned instruments. The results showed improvement in the levels of the teachers&#8217; commitment and of the children&#8217;s involvement, although musical activities remained incipient in the institutional routine. Further studies are needed to effect the effective insertion of musical language in early childhood education. Furthermore, it should be considered that faster training, whether or not containing significant content, may not be sufficient to consolidate the learning of this important content for the development of young children. ]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen  Se trata de un estudio con el objetivo de identificar las variaciones en el compromiso de los docentes de instituciones infantiles y la participaci&#243;n de los ni&#241;os antes y despu&#233;s de una intervenci&#243;n, orientada a contenidos musicales de aprendizaje. Para este prop&#243;sito, se asistieron cinco profesoras y 24 ni&#241;os de edades comprendidas entre los tres y cinco a&#241;os. Inicialmente, se aplic&#243; y se evalu&#243; escalas de compromiso de adulto y de participaci&#243;n del ni&#241;o. A continuaci&#243;n, las maestras asistieron a un curso de formaci&#243;n en m&#250;sica, con una carga lectiva de 100 horas, y despu&#233;s, hubo un seguimiento semanal de los profesores durante cinco semanas. Terminado el procedimiento de intervenci&#243;n, los maestros y los ni&#241;os fueron reevaluados por los instrumentos mencionados. Los resultados mostraron una mejora en los n&#237;veles de compromiso de los docentes y de participaci&#243;n de los ni&#241;os, sin embargo, las actividades musicales continuaron incipiente en la rutina institucional. Se necesitan m&#225;s estudios para efectuar la inserci&#243;n efectiva del lenguaje musical en la educaci&#243;n infantil, tambi&#233;n debe tenerse en cuenta que la formaci&#243;n m&#225;s aligerado, incluso con contenido significativo, puede no ser suficiente para consolidar el aprendizaje de este importante contenido para el desarrollo del ni&#241;o peque&#241;o. ]]></p></abstract>
