Realizamos dois grupos focais, dos quais participaram estudantes das &#225;reas de Ci&#234;ncias Humanas, Exatas e Sa&#250;de. Os resultados apontaram representa&#231;&#245;es sociais centradas em alguns pontos, a saber: descoberta do aluno como sujeito de saber e lugar da aprendizagem t&#233;cnica ou transposi&#231;&#227;o do conte&#250;do espec&#237;fico, instrumentaliza&#231;&#227;o do docente. Admitimos que as representa&#231;&#245;es sociais evidenciadas neste artigo possam contribuir para se (re) pensar o processo formativo dos futuros professores da educa&#231;&#227;o b&#225;sica. ]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Social representations constructed by training on undergraduate students from a public institution is the subject of this article. Results of a qualitative survey of students in undergraduate programs at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), Recife. We conducted two focus groups, the students who participated in the areas of Humanities, Exact and Health. The results showed centric social representation in some spots, namely: the discovery of the student as an individual with knowledge and technical learning or place of transposition of specific content, instrumentalization of teaching. Admit that social representations made in this article may contribute to (re) formation process for prospective teachers of basic education thinking. ]]></p></abstract>
