<self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S2177-60592015000200437&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S2177-60592015000200437&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S2177-60592015000200437&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Neste artigo, apresenta-se uma vis&#227;o panor&#226;mica sobre as a&#231;&#245;es propostas pela Organiza&#231;&#227;o das Na&#231;&#245;es Unidas (Unesco) para a Educa&#231;&#227;o, a Ci&#234;ncia e a Cultura com a tem&#225;tica forma&#231;&#227;o de professores. O artigo foi elaborado a partir da pesquisa bibliogr&#225;fica e da an&#225;lise das Declara&#231;&#245;es e Recomenda&#231;&#245;es da Unesco, aprovadas nas reuni&#245;es Promedlac e Prelac entre 1981 e 2007. Assim, tra&#231;ou-se um retrato do processo de globaliza&#231;&#227;o, forma&#231;&#227;o de blocos econ&#244;micos, atua&#231;&#227;o da Unesco em rela&#231;&#227;o &#224; educa&#231;&#227;o e &#224;s a&#231;&#245;es e diretrizes propostas pelo &#243;rg&#227;o quanto &#224; forma&#231;&#227;o dos professores. Como resultados, tem-se que o organismo teve papel de destaque na defini&#231;&#227;o de pol&#237;ticas educacionais nas d&#233;cadas de 1980 e 1990, mas perdeu seu poder de atua&#231;&#227;o, pois os organismos financeiros de dimens&#227;o global assumiram o protagonismo na tarefa de definir princ&#237;pios e estrat&#233;gias em todos os &#226;mbitos da vida pol&#237;tica, econ&#244;mica e cultural da regi&#227;o da regi&#227;o latino-americana.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[In this article, it is analyzed a view about actions proposed by Unesco on teacher's formation. It was designed from the literature research and analysis of Unesco Declarations and Recommendations performed in Promedlac and Prelac meetings from 1981 to 2007. Thus, it was outlined a picture of the globalization process, formation of economic blocs, Unesco's activities in relation to education and to actions and guidelines proposed by the agency in relation to the teachers' formation. It was possible to conclude that the organization had a prominent role in the definition of educational policies in the 1980s and 1990s, but it has lost its power of action, because the financial institutions of global dimension took the leading role in the task of defining principles and strategies in all areas of political, economic and cultural life of the region.]]></p></abstract>
