E como a gestão universitária tem atuado para garantir os direitos educacionais plenos a esses públicos? Este artigo objetiva analisar como o racismo institucional e a branquitude identificados em discursos de gestores e gestoras de uma universidade federal favorecem um modelo de gestão que reage seletivamente às exigências legais e às demandas apresentadas pelos estudantes negros e negras, mantêm a colonialidade de poder/saber e dificultam a efetivação de um ambiente universitário afirmativo, o qual transcende as políticas de acesso.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT: The students of lower classes and blacks entering public universities in the context of affirmative action policies have been playing a key role in the transformation of these institutions, once they inquire the social and ethnic-racial profiles of the student body, the institutional organization and, mainly, the curricular matrices. And how has the university management acted to guarantee full educational rights to these audiences? This article aims to analyze how institutional racism and whiteness identified in speeches of managers of a federal University favor a management model that selectively reacts to legal requirements and the demands made by black students, they maintain the coloniality of power/knowledge and hinder the effectiveness of an affirmative university environment, which transcends access policies.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN: Los estudiantes de origen popular y negros que ingresan a las universidades públicas en el contexto de políticas afirmativas han venido jugando un papel fundamental en la transformación de estas instituciones, ya que investigan los perfiles sociales y étnico-raciales de los estudiantes, la organización institucional y, principalmente, las matrices curriculares. ¿Y cómo ha actuado la dirección universitaria para garantizar plenos derechos educativos a estos públicos? Este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar cómo el racismo institucional y la blanquitud identificados en los discursos de los directivos de una universidad federal favorecen un modelo de gestión que reacciona selectivamente a los requerimientos y demandas legales presentados por los estudiantes negros, mantiene la colonialidad del poder/saber y dificulta la implementación de un modelo de gestión afirmativo, ámbito universitario, que trasciende las políticas de acceso.]]></p></abstract>
