Para tal, partimos da noção de &#8220;educação da atenção&#8221;, do antropólogo britânico Tim Ingold. A partir desse pressuposto, o texto assume a posição de que a preocupação fundamental da educação precisa dizer respeito a um compromisso ontológico com o mundo e com àqueles que os constitui. Conclui-se que o pensamento de Ingold nos possibilita explorar o compromisso ontológico da educação, ao se atentar para uma noção de educação em que está preocupada com a continuidade da vida.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT: This paper aims to demonstrate that education, through its ontological commitment, leads to a better understanding of human participation in the production of the world. To do so, we start from the notion of " education of attention", by the British anthropologist Tim Ingold. From this assumption, the text takes the position that the fundamental concern of education needs to concern an ontological commitment to the world and to those who constitute it. It concludes that Ingold's thinking enables us to explore the ontological commitment of education by paying attention to a notion of education that is concerned with the continuity of life.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN: El presente escrito objetiva demostrar que a través de su compromiso ontológico, la educación apunta a una mejor comprensión de la participación humana en la producción del mundo. Para ello, partimos de la noción de &#8220;educación de la atención&#8221;, del antropólogo británico Tim Ingold. A partir de este supuesto, el texto asume la posición de que la preocupación fundamental de la educación debe consistir en un compromiso ontológico con el mundo y con quienes lo constituyen. Se concluye que el pensamiento de Ingold permite explorar el compromiso ontológico de la educación, al prestar atención a una noción de educación en la que se preocupa por la continuidad de la vida.]]></p></abstract>
