Busca, por meio da investiga&#231;&#227;o dos mapas de frequ&#234;ncia, identificar as categorias que ordenaram a inf&#226;ncia na perspectiva comunit&#225;ria &#233;tnica e escolar. A demanda pela escritura&#231;&#227;o escolar &#233; concebida como pr&#225;tica administrativa que buscou institucionalizar o fazer docente. Essa pr&#225;tica no universo escolar das col&#244;nias de imigrantes possibilitou nomear crian&#231;as, classificar os diferentes perfis infantis que frequentavam as escolas coloniais e mensurar a cad&#234;ncia dos ritmos de ensino e aprendizagem. Como instrumento legal, os mapas de frequ&#234;ncia sinalizavam o quanto a escola seria capaz de ordenar a inf&#226;ncia, escolarizando os sujeitos sociais e transformando-os em sujeitos escolares.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[School records from the Italian colonies in Curitiba PR Brazil are analyzed as a source of representational forms of childhood. The categories that ordained childhood within the ethnic and school community perspective are identified through the schools&#180; attendance rolls. The requirement to maintain school records was in fact an administrative tool to transform schooling and teaching into an institution. The practice in schools in immigrants&#180; colonies provided children's names, classified the different profiles of children who attended school and measured the regularity of their teaching and learning achievements. Attendance rolls were a legal instrument which showed the school&#180;s capacity to ordain childhood by schooling the social subjects and transforming them into schooled subjects.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[El art&#237;culo propone analizar la contadur&#237;a escolar de las colonias italianas de la ciudad de Curitiba como lugares indiciarios de los modos de representar la infancia. Busca, por medio de la investigaci&#243;n de los mapas de frecuencia, identificar las categor&#237;as que ordenaron la infancia en la perspectiva comunitaria &#233;tnica y escolar. La demanda por la contadur&#237;a escolar es concebida como pr&#225;ctica administrativa que busc&#243; institucionalizar el hacer docente. Esta pr&#225;ctica en el universo escolar de las colonias de inmigrantes posibilit&#243; nombrar ni&#241;os, clasificar los diferentes perfiles infantiles que frecuentaban las escuelas coloniales y medir la cadencia de los ritmos de ense&#241;anza y aprendizaje. Como instrumento legal, los mapas de frecuencia se&#241;alaban cu&#225;nto la escuela ser&#237;a capaz de ordenar la infancia, escolarizando a los sujetos sociales y transform&#225;ndolos em sujetos escolares.]]></p></abstract>
