Faz uma reflex&#227;o e an&#225;lise da funda&#231;&#227;o do Estado Moderno, e sua influ&#234;ncia na forma&#231;&#227;o das sociedades modernas e contempor&#226;neas, bem como evidencia os impactos dos pressupostos da separa&#231;&#227;o entre religi&#227;o e Estado para considerar que a educa&#231;&#227;o do cidad&#227;o passa pelo esclarecimento, e que esse esclarecimento democr&#225;tico e republicano dos cidad&#227;os passa pelas "[...] regras de uma educa&#231;&#227;o p&#250;blica" (Diderot, 2000, p. 268), pois o Estado deve ser o respons&#225;vel pela educa&#231;&#227;o, em di&#225;logo constante com os diversos setores da sociedade, de tal forma que 'o objeto do ensino e a extens&#227;o das li&#231;&#245;es devem proporcionar-se &#224; pluralidade'. A ideia central &#233; a de que pode existir um espa&#231;o para as quest&#245;es religiosas dentro do Estado laico, mas elas devem ser orientadas pela raz&#227;o que esclarece o cidad&#227;o e seja express&#227;o da subjetividade e da liberdade humana. Nas rela&#231;&#245;es entre o Estado, a religi&#227;o e a educa&#231;&#227;o do cidad&#227;o, cabe refletir sobre a desigualdade social e o impacto da religi&#227;o na manuten&#231;&#227;o ou transforma&#231;&#227;o de estruturas sociais injustas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[The obstacles and conflicts between the State and religion and current perspectives on the developments of this relationship with the education of the citizen are analyzed. The paper investigates the foundation of the modern State and its influence on the formation of modern and contemporary societies. It also shows the impact of the separation between religion and State to discuss that the citizen's education leads towards enlightenment. Further, democratic and republican knowledge of citizens goes through the "rules of public education" (Diderot, 2000, p. 268). In fact, the State should be responsible for education in a constant dialogue with the various segments of society, so that 'the object of education and the extent of lessons should provide him with plurality'. The central idea is that there may be a space for religious issues within the secular state, but they must be guided by reason that enlightens the citizen and they must be an expression of subjectivity and human freedom. Relationships between the State, Religion and Citizen Education should also include reflections about social inequality and the impact of religion on the maintenance or transformation of unjust social structures.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Este art&#237;culo tuvo el objetivo de se&#241;alar los obst&#225;culos y los conflictos entre Estado y religi&#243;n y las perspectivas actuales sobre los desdoblamientos de esta relaci&#243;n con la educaci&#243;n del ciudadano. Hace una reflexi&#243;n y un an&#225;lisis de la fundaci&#243;n del Estado Moderno, y su influencia en la formaci&#243;n de las sociedades modernas y contempor&#225;neas, as&#237; como evidencia los impactos de los presupuestos de la separaci&#243;n entre religi&#243;n y Estado para considerar que la educaci&#243;n del ciudadano pasa por el esclarecimiento, y que este esclarecimento democr&#225;tico y republicano de los ciudadanos pasa por las "[...] reglas de una educaci&#243;n p&#250;blica" (Diderot, 2000, p. 268), pues el Estado debe ser el responsable por la educaci&#243;n, en di&#225;logo constante con los diversos sectores de la sociedad, de tal forma que 'el objeto de la ense&#241;anza y la extensi&#243;n de las lecciones deben proporcionarse a la pluralidad'. La idea central es la de que puede existir un espacio para las cuestiones religiosas dentro del Estado laico, pero ellas deben ser orientadas por la raz&#243;n que esclarece el ciudadano y sean expresi&#243;n de la subjetividade y de la libertad humana. En las relaciones entre el Estado, la religi&#243;n y la educaci&#243;n del ciudadano, cabe reflexionar sobre la desigualdad social y el impacto de la religi&#243;n en el mantenimiento o en la transformaci&#243;n de estructuras sociales injustas.]]></p></abstract>
