O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar conte&#250;dos e formas para educar a inf&#226;ncia catarinense que frequentava as escolas p&#250;blicas prim&#225;rias - grupos escolares e escolas isoladas - entre os anos de 1910 e 1935, tomando como elementos os programas de ensino, o c&#243;digo disciplinar, as obras did&#225;ticas e a indica&#231;&#227;o do m&#233;todo anal&#237;tico de leitura e escrita. Dentre as fontes, destacam-se o Programa de ensino das escolas p&#250;blicas dos anos de 1911/1914, o Regimento Interno dos grupos escolares, os Regulamentos da Instru&#231;&#227;o P&#250;blica de 1911/1914, documentos de legisla&#231;&#227;o, relat&#243;rios de dirigentes pol&#237;ticos e educacionais. A metodologia procurou responder &#224;s seguintes perguntas: Que elementos materiais e simb&#243;licos compareciam para a educabilidade da inf&#226;ncia? Como pensar a multiplicidade de inf&#226;ncias que habitavam o tempo e o espa&#231;o da escola prim&#225;ria?]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT. This study aimed to analyze contents and forms of educating Santa Catarina children who attended public primary schools - school groups and isolated schools, between 1910 and 1935, using as elements the teaching programs, disciplinary codes, didactic texts and the indications of analytic methods for reading and writing. The sources include: the teaching program used in public schools from 1911 to 1914, the bylaws for school groups, regulations of public instruction for the period 1911-1914, legislative documents and reports from political and educational directors. The methodology sought to respond the questions: What material and symbolic elements appear concerning the education of children? How can we consider the multiplicity of childhoods that inhabited the time and space of primary schools?]]></p></abstract>

El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar los contenidos y las formas para educar a los ni&#241;os de Santa Catarina que frecuentaban las escuelas p&#250;blicas primarias - grupos escolares y escuelas aisladas - entre los a&#241;os de 1910 y 1935, tomando como elementos los programas de ense&#241;anza, el c&#243;digo disciplinario, las obras did&#225;cticas y la indicaci&#243;n del m&#233;todo anal&#237;tico de lectura y escritura.
