La profunda crisis moral surgida luego de la caída del imperio de Carlomagno, y aún presente hasta parte del Siglo XII, tuvo como emergente una fundamental renovación espiritual en el carácter religioso y el fervor místico de hombres y mujeres extraordinarios. Su manifestación en el pensamiento filosófico-teológico es una de las expresiones más significativas de la historia medieval centroeuropea. Diversidad de experiencias y modalidades místicas que encuentran una posible síntesis en el pensamiento de la Escuela parisina de San Víctor, con sus representantes Ricardo y Hugo, pero también en figuras paradigmáticas como el franciscano Buenaventura de Bagnoregio y el dominico Tomás de Aquino. Común a todos ellos es la búsqueda del Bien supremo mediante la práctica de una triple elevación interior: la vía purgativa, la iluminativa y la unitiva. Son presentadas aquí algunas notas distintivas de este camino de progreso interior ascendente y señalados sus respectivos aportes a la doctrina medieval de los conceptos trascendentales.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO. A profunda crise moral que surgiu após a queda do império de Carlos Magno, e ainda presente até parte do século XII, tinha como consequência uma renovação espiritual fundamental no fervor religioso e místico dos homens e mulheres extraordinários. A sua manifestação no pensamento filosófico-teológico é uma das expressões mais significativas da história medieval da Europa central. Diversidade de experiências místicas e modalidades são uma síntese possível no pensamento da Escola parisiense de São Víctor, com seus representantes Ricardo e Hugo, mas também em figuras paradigmáticas como el franciscano Boaventura de Bagnoregio e Tomás de Aquino. Comum a todos eles é a busca do bem supremo através da prática de uma elevação interior que manifesta-se numa tripla via: purgativa, iluminativa e unitiva. São apresentadas aqui algumas notas distintivas deste caminho de progresso dentro da via ascendente e delineadas as suas respectivas contribuições para a doutrina medieval de conceitos transcendentais.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT. The profound moral crisis emerged after the fall of the empire of Charles the Great, and still present until part of the 12th century, has as a consequence a fundamental spiritual renewal in the religious and mystical fervor of some extraordinary men and women. Its manifestation in the philosophical-theological thinking is one of the most significant expressions of the medieval history of central Europe. Diversity of mystical experiences and modalities compose a possible synthesis in the thinking of Parisian School of Saint Victor, with their representatives Richard and Hugh, but also in Franciscans and Dominicans paradigmatic figures like Bonaventure of Bagnoregio and Thomas Aquinas. Common to all of them is the search for the supreme good through the practice of an inner elevation in a triple spiritual way: purgative, illuminative and unitive. This paper analyzes some distinctive notes in the progress inside this ascending and outlined their respectives contributions to the medieval doctrine of transcendentals concepts.]]></p></abstract>
