Para tanto, toma como fontes manuais escolares que abordam tem&#225;ticas ligadas a higiene e sa&#250;de, em suas articula&#231;&#245;es com os programas de ensino e com fotografias que p&#245;em em cena aspectos das aulas de puericultura nos grupos escolares. A an&#225;lise proposta visa a capturar, para al&#233;m dos enunciados presentes nos manuais e dos modos como se articulam no sentido de produzir a interpreta&#231;&#227;o por parte dos pequenos leitores, ind&#237;cios das pr&#225;ticas escolares engendradas com o intento de conformar os gestos de cuidado com o corpo e a sa&#250;de.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This paper examines the place of schoolbooks in the teaching of hygiene notions in primary schools of S&#227;o Paulo State, Brazil. According to the guidelines and programs approved during the first decades of the Twentieth Century, that teaching should give priority to the practical dimension. Therefore, the sources used were schoolbooks that deal with issues related to the hygiene and health, in connections with educational programs, as well as photographs that put in scene aspects of childcare classes in schools. The proposed analysis aims to capture - beyond the statements presented in schoolbooks and the ways in which they are articulated to produce children's interpretation - evidence of school practice engendered with the intent of framing the body and health care gestures.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Este art&#237;culo indaga el lugar que ocupan los manuales escolares en la ense&#241;anza de las nociones de higiene en las escuelas primarias de S&#227;o Paulo, Brasil, ense&#241;anza que, seg&#250;n las orientaciones y los programas aprobados en las primeras d&#233;cadas del siglo 20, deber&#237;a dar primac&#237;a a la dimensi&#243;n pr&#225;ctica. Para ello, toma como fuentes manuales escolares que abordan cuestiones relacionadas con la higiene y la salud, articulados con los programas de ense&#241;anza y con fotograf&#237;as que ponen en escena aspectos de las clases de puericultura en los grupos escolares. El an&#225;lisis propuesto busca captar, m&#225;s all&#225; de los an&#225;lisis presentes en los manuales y de las formas en que se articulan para producir la interpretaci&#243;n de los peque&#241;os lectores, los indicios de las pr&#225;cticas escolares engendradas con la intenci&#243;n de conformar los gestos de cuidado con el cuerpo y la salud.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="fr"><p><![CDATA[R&#233;sum&#233; Cet article interroge la place occup&#233;e par les manuels scolaires dans l'enseignement des notions d'hygi&#232;ne destin&#233;es aux &#233;coles primaires de l'&#201;tat de S&#227;o Paulo-Br&#233;sil, aux premi&#232;res d&#233;cades du 20e si&#232;cle. Selon les orientations et les programmes utilis&#233;s dans cette p&#233;riode, l'enseignement de ce contenu devrait avoir comme primaut&#233; la dimension pratique. Les sources sont constitu&#233;es par des manuels scolaires qui traitent des questions li&#233;es &#224; l'hygi&#232;ne et sant&#233; a partir de ses articulations avec les programmes d'enseignement et des photographies qui portent sur les th&#232;mes concernant &#224; la pu&#233;riculture dans les &#233;coles.
