Algumas dessas mudan&#231;as tardam em se refletir na pr&#225;tica educativa, designadamente ao n&#237;vel universit&#225;rio. Outras ultrapassam o que a teoria poderia prever ante as profundas altera&#231;&#245;es com que a atual ecologia dos m&#237;dia nos confronta. Neste texto, procuramos apresentar alguns conceitos-chave associados &#224; Cultura da Converg&#234;ncia e &#224; sua rela&#231;&#227;o com as novas formas de aprender. Abordam-se a Educa&#231;&#227;o a Dist&#226;ncia e o seu papel na transforma&#231;&#227;o da pedagogia universit&#225;ria, tendo em vista uma nova cultura de aprendizagem.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[The new media culture can be a catalyst for change in pedagogical practice and in the way it promotes the construction of knowledge. Some of these changes take time to be reflected in educational practice, particularly at the university level. Others exceed what the theory could have predicted regarding the profound changes that the current ecology of media confronts us with. In this paper, we try to present some key concepts associated with the Convergence Culture and its relationship with the new ways of learning. It deals with Distance Education and its role in the transformation of university pedagogy, towards a new culture of learning.]]></p></abstract>
