Al&#233;m disso, s&#227;o descritas as compet&#234;ncias necess&#225;rias &#224; pr&#225;tica pedag&#243;gica em tal contexto. A partir desses conceitos, apresenta-se um estudo de caso sobre a constru&#231;&#227;o e valida&#231;&#227;o de uma proposta de modelo pedag&#243;gico baseado em compet&#234;ncias focado para professores e tutores em EAD, intitulado MP-CompEAD. Por fim, exp&#245;em-se os resultados, evidenciando as suas contribui&#231;&#245;es no processo de constru&#231;&#227;o de compet&#234;ncias.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article deals with pedagogical models and their constituent elements, highlighting pedagogical architecture in the context of distance education. In addition to that, we herein describe the competences required for teaching in such a context. Based on these concepts, we present a case study about the development and validation of a proposal for a pedagogical model based on competencies aimed at teachers and tutors in distance education, called MP-CompEAD. Finally, we expose the results, showing their possible contributions to the competence-building process.]]></p></abstract>
