Vale-se de revisão bibliográfica que apresenta os principais avanços da legislação nas duas últimas décadas e dialoga com pesquisas recentes sobre a Educação Especial. Aborda práticas que podem favorecer os processos de ensino e aprendizagem em contextos de inclusão escolar, particularmente de educandos com necessidades especiais. Defende-se uma postura acolhedora da diferença por parte dos(as) docentes. O conceito de experiência é utilizado para fundamentar as diferenças como potências formativas. Por fim, são tecidas considerações quanto à necessidade de uma micropolítica do desejo que contribua para práticas inclusivas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article discusses Special Education and school inclusion in the Brazilian context. It uses a bibliographic review that presents the main advances of the legislation in the last two decades and dialogues with recent research on special education. It aproaches practices that may favor teaching and learning processes for school inclusion, particularly students with special needs. It defends a welcoming attitude of the difference on the part of the teachers. The concept of experience is used to ground differences as formative powers. Finally, considerations are made as to the need for a micropolitics of desire that contributes to inclusive practices.]]></p></abstract>
