<self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S2318-19822013000200109&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S2318-19822013000200109&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S2318-19822013000200109&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo O trabalho analisa o Programa Mais Educa&#231;&#227;o, como &#8220;nova estrat&#233;gia&#8221; do governo federal para promo&#231;&#227;o da educa&#231;&#227;o integral, focalizando as fun&#231;&#245;es sociais atribu&#237;das aos programas esportivos, art&#237;sticos e recreativos realizados no contraturno escolar, como forma de &#8220;ocupa&#231;&#227;o&#8221; do &#8220;tempo livre&#8221; de crian&#231;as e jovens do ensino fundamental. Tamb&#233;m analisa os espa&#231;os e os equipamentos disponibilizados para tais a&#231;&#245;es, considerando-os indicadores de efetividade da proposta de cria&#231;&#227;o de territ&#243;rios educativos. Trata de alguns dos resultados de pesquisa financiada pelo CNPq. Tais resultados revelam que, sob o discurso de promover a educa&#231;&#227;o integral, a escola p&#250;blica brasileira vem ampliando suas responsabilidades, diminuindo a escolariza&#231;&#227;o e aumentando o disciplinamento da pobreza.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The paper analyzes the More Education Program, as &#8220;new strategy&#8221; of the federal government to promote comprehensive education, focusing on social functions allocated to sports programs, arts and entertainment held in the shift from school as a form of &#8220;occupation&#8221; of &#8220;free time&#8221; children and youth in elementary school. It also examines the spaces and equipment available for such actions, considering the indicators of effectiveness of the proposed educational establishment of territories. It addresses some of the results of research fundeb by CNPq. These results show that, in the speech to promote the integral education, the Brasilian public school has been expanding its responsibilities, decreasing enroolment and increasing the discipline of poverty.]]></p></abstract>
