Assim, foi feita uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa e descritiva. Quanto ao procedimento técnico, optou-se pela pesquisa bibliográfica. Os resultados revelaram que os memes, por trazerem temas relacionados a situações corriqueiras da vida das pessoas de uma forma divertida e por estarem fortemente presentes no mundo digital, têm despertado a curiosidade e o interesse, os quais têm um papel fundamental na aprendizagem, dos alunos da geração internet. A pesquisa mostrou os elementos que devem estar presentes nos memes (humor, crítica, fixação de conteúdo, reflexão, despertar o interesse pela disciplina, contexto histórico), que devem ser considerados pelos professores, ao usarem esse gênero nas salas de aula. Também foram apresentadas as possibilidades e os exemplos concretos do uso dos memes como recursos pedagógicos que facilitam a aprendizagem.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The objective of this article was to present the possibilities of using memes as a pedagogical resource, showing its educational potential. Thus, a qualitative and descriptive research was carried out. As for the technical procedure, it was opted for bibliographic research. The results revealed that memes, because they bring themes related to everyday situations in people&#8217;s lives in a fun way, and because they are strongly present in the digital world, have aroused curiosity and interest, which have a fundamental role in the learning of students from the nternet generation. The research showed the elements that must be present in memes (humor, criticism, content fixation, reflection, awakening interest in the discipline, historical context), which must be considered by teachers when using this genre in classrooms. The possibilities and concrete examples of the use of memes as pedagogical resources that facilitate learning were also presented.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El objetivo de este artículo fue presentar las posibilidades del uso de los memes como recurso pedagógico, mostrando su potencial educativo. Así, se realizó una investigación cualitativa y descriptiva. En cuanto al procedimiento técnico, si optó por la investigación bibliográfica. Los resultados revelaron que los memes, por traer temas relacionados con situaciones cotidianas de la vida de las personas de manera divertida y por estar fuertemente presentes en el mundo digital, han despertado la curiosidad y el interés, los cualestienen un papel fundamental en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes de la generación de internet. La investigación mostró los elementos que deben estar presentes en los memes (humor, crítica, fijación de contenido, reflexión, despertar el interés por la disciplina, contexto histórico), que deben ser considerados por los docentes, al momento de utilizar este género en el aula. También se presentaron las posibilidades y ejemplos concretos del uso de los memes como recursos pedagógicos que facilitan el aprendizaje.]]></p></abstract>
