Objetiva apresentar a gestão freireana na SME/ SP, conforme ela a percebe, hoje. Metodologicamente inscrito no campo da pesquisa narrativa, aborda, em três partes, os temas da educação democrática, dos diálogos universidade-escola e dos cotidianos e suas narrativas, presentes na gestão freireana, em diálogo com conceitos do autor como a humanização, o diálogo e o compromisso político do educador como formas de luta contra a dominação. No final, traz uma reflexão sobre a utopia freireana em oposição à distopia atual...]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This essay is based on a conversation with professor Ana Maria Saul and reflections on her. It aims to present Freire&#8217;s management at SME/SP, as she perceives it today. Methodologically inscribed in the field of narrative research, it addresses, in three parts, the themes of democratic education, university-school dialogues, and everyday life and their narratives, present in Freire&#8217;s management, dialoguing with the author&#8217;s concepts such as humanization, dialogue, and the educator&#8217;s political commitment as ways of fighting domination. In the end, it brings a reflection on the Freirean utopia as opposed to the current dystopia.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Este ensayo está basado en una conversación con la Profª Ana Maria Saul y reflexiones sobre ella. Tiene como objetivo presentar la gestión de Freire en SME / SP, tal como ella la percibe, hoy. Inscrita metodológicamente en el campo de la investigación narrativa, aborda, en tres partes, los temas de la educación democrática, los diálogos universidad-escuela y la vida cotidiana y sus narrativas, presentes en la gestión de Freire, en diálogo con conceptos del autor como la humanización, el diálogo y el compromiso político del educador como formas de lucha contra la dominación. Al final, trae una reflexión sobre la utopía de Freire frente a la distopía actual.]]></p></abstract>
