Metodologicamente, utilizamos a pesquisa exploratória e descritiva (Severino, 2007). Para o levantamento dos dados quantitativos e estatísticos utilizamos o Censo da Educação Superior, referentes aos anos de 2017 a 2021. Concluímos que a pandemia contribuiu para o aumento dos cursos em EaD, contudo observamos a influência do incentivo governamental brasileiro para a propagação dessa modalidade no país.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The work analyzes the percentage of higher education courses in Brazil that offer the Distance Education modality (EaD), during the SARS-COV-2 Pandemic. Methodologically, it uses exploratory and descriptive research (Severino, 2007). For the collection of quantitative and statistical data, it used the Higher Education Census, referring to the years 2017 to 2021. It concludes that the pandemic contributed to the increase in distance education courses, however, we observed the influence of the Brazilian government's incentive for the propagation of this modality in the country.]]></p></abstract>

Metodológicamente, utilizamos una investigación exploratoria y descriptiva (Severino, 2007). Para la recolección de datos cuantitativos y estadísticos, utilizamos el Censo de Educación Superior, referido a los años 2017 a 2021. Concluimos que la pandemia contribuyó para el aumento de los cursos de educación a distancia, sin embargo, observamos la influencia del incentivo del gobierno brasileño para la propagación de esta modalidad en el país.]]></p></abstract>
