O objetivo deste artigo consiste em compreender o positivismo, a fenomenologia e o marxismo enquanto correntes filosóficas indicando as suas contribuições, fragilidades e limites nas pesquisas, situando a formação continuada de professores como objeto de estudo. A pesquisa que ensejou este artigo é de abordagem qualitativa, de natureza bibliográfica, com uma perspectiva críticoreflexiva. Os resultados indicam a existência de potencialidades e subsídios que permitem qualificar as investigações e alicerçar o debate sobre a temática apresentada, corroborando, assim, com a produção do conhecimento a partir de diferentes intersecções, interlocuções e interfaces de cada corrente filosófica.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Discussions about the epistemological perspective adopted by researchers in the field of educational research have become a recurring theme given the complexity found in the knowledge construction process, as well as in the researcher's choice and positioning in relation to his or her object of study. The objective of this article is to understand positivism, phenomenology and Marxism as philosophical currents, indicating their contributions, weaknesses and limits in research, placing the continuing education of teachers as an object of study. The research that gave rise to this article has a qualitative approach, of a bibliographical nature, with a critical-reflexive perspective. The results indicate the existence of potentialities and subsidies that allow qualifying the investigations and support the debate on the theme presented, thus corroborating with the production of knowledge, from different intersections, interlocutions and interfaces of each philosophical current.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Las discusiones sobre la perspectiva epistemológica que adoptan los investigadores en el campo de la investigación educativa se han convertido en un tema recurrente dada la complejidad encontrada en el proceso de construcción del conocimiento, así como en la elección y posicionamiento del investigador en relación con su objeto de estudio. El objetivo de este artículo es comprender el positivismo, la fenomenología y el marxismo como corrientes filosóficas, señalando sus aportes, debilidades y límites en la investigación, colocando como objeto de estudio la formación continua de los docentes. La investigación que dio origen a este artículo tiene un enfoque cualitativo, de carácter bibliográfico, con una perspectiva crítico-reflexiva. Los resultados indican la existencia de potencialidades y subsidios que permiten calificar las investigaciones y sustentar el debate sobre el tema presentado, corroborando así con la producción de conocimiento, a partir de diferentes cruces, interlocuciones e interfaces de cada corriente filosófica.]]></p></abstract>
