Essa indefinição pode ser percebida na BNCC que, mesmo sendo um documento com força de lei, estabelece pouca especificidade sobre o que ensinar nas aulas de atletismo. Por isso, o objetivo deste artigo é analisar os consensos sobre o ensino do atletismo na escola a partir da percepção de especialistas. A metodologia utilizada foi a técnica delphi. Como instrumentos para coleta de dados foram utilizadas entrevistas abertas e questionário likert. A amostra da pesquisa compõe-se de 28 especialistas com experiência acadêmica e como treinador/árbitro ou como atleta da modalidade atletismo em competições oficiais. A seleção dos participantes ocorreu por meio da técnica bola de neve e sua finalização por saturação. Os dados foram analisados pelo método de análise estatística descritiva simples. Os especialistas apontaram que o atletismo precisa ser vivenciado como um conteúdo específico, e não como um preparatório para outros esportes. E apontaram a necessidade de o professor da educação básica (EB) utilizar estratégias diferenciadas para possibilitar maior interação entre os alunos e viabilizar uma maior participação nas aulas. Dentre essas estratégias destacam-se a ludicidade e o trabalho em grupo. Os resultados apontaram que a principal dificuldade em trabalhar o atletismo na escola está na formação pedagógica dos professores de educação física. Os especialistas reivindicam maior espaço para o atletismo no currículo da educação básica e uma unidade temática da modalidade na BNCC.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Although athletics is a traditional sport in Physical Education curricula, knowledge related to teaching this sport has never been well defined. This lack of definition can be seen in the BNCC which, despite being a document with the force of law, establishes little specificity about what to teach in athletics classes. Therefore, the objective of this article is to analyze the consensus on the teaching of athletics at school from the perspective of specialists. The methodology used was the delphi technique. As instruments for data collection, open interviews and a Likert questionnaire were used. The research sample is composed of 28 specialists with academic experience and as a coach/referee or as an athletics athlete in official competitions. The selection of participants occurred through the snowball technique and its finalization by saturation. Data were analyzed using the simple descriptive statistical analysis method. Experts pointed out that athletics needs to be experienced as specific content, and not as preparation for other sports. And they pointed out the need for basic education teachers (EB) to use different strategies to enable greater interaction between students and enable greater participation in classes. Among these strategies, playfulness and group work stand out. The results showed that the main difficulty in working on athletics at school is in pedagogical training of physical education teachers. Experts demand greater space for athletics in the basic education curriculum and a thematic unit for the sport at BNCC.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Aunque el atletismo es un deporte tradicional en los planes de estudios de Educación Física, los conocimientos relacionados con la enseñanza de este deporte nunca han estado bien definidos. Esta indefinición se puede comprobar en el BNCC que, a pesar de ser un documento con fuerza de ley, establece poca especificidad sobre qué enseñar en las clases de atletismo. Por ello, el objetivo de este artículo es analizar el consenso sobre la enseñanza del atletismo en la escuela a partir de la percepción de expertos. La metodología utilizada fue la técnica Delphi. Se utilizaron entrevistas abiertas y un cuestionario Likert como instrumentos para la recolección de datos. La muestra de la investigación está compuesta por 28 expertos con experiencia académica y experiencia como entrenador/árbitro o como deportista en atletismo en competiciones oficiales. Los participantes fueron seleccionados mediante la técnica de bola de nieve y finalizados por saturación. Los datos fueron analizados mediante el método de análisis estadístico descriptivo simple. Los expertos señalan que el atletismo debe vivirse como un contenido específico y no como una preparación para otros deportes. Y señalaron la necesidad de que los docentes de educación básica (EB) utilicen diferentes estrategias para posibilitar una mayor interacción entre los estudiantes y posibilitar una mayor participación en las clases. Entre estas estrategias destacan la lúdica y el trabajo en grupo. Los resultados mostraron que la principal dificultad para trabajar el atletismo en la escuela radica en la formación pedagógica de los profesores de educación física. Los expertos exigen un mayor espacio para el atletismo en el currículo de la educación básica y una unidad temática para el deporte en el BNCC.]]></p></abstract>
