Com base nessa revisão, interpretam-se os resultados obtidos nesses experimentos e discutem-se possíveis efeitos desses materiais sobre o desempenho do aluno.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[This paper presents a review of the literature concerning advance organizers and a description of two experiments in physics teaching using this type of instructional strategy. Based on this review, the research findings of these experiments are interpreted and possible effects of the sematerials on the learner's performance are discussed.]]></p></abstract>
