</abstract>

Foucault allows the association of the politic domain, the authority and the behaviour of the citizens. The schooling institutional model and identity categories, since the eighteenth century, are products and instruments of a liberal style of government, in which the politic and ethic dimensions are tied. An analytics of these multiple governmentalities opens new questions and others historic narratives about the school and its inhabitants.
</abstract>
