O que revelam, narrativamente, sobre sua capacidade de reflex&#227;o, aprendizagens e supera&#231;&#227;o diante do adoecimento? Este artigo discute resultados de pesquisas desenvolvidas na perspectiva da pesquisa (auto) biogr&#225;fica com crian&#231;as em duas situa&#231;&#245;es: no hospital e em cl&#237;nicas onde fazem tratamento quimioter&#225;pico. Descrevemos os procedimentos de interlocu&#231;&#227;o com as crian&#231;as como parte importante da &#233;tica em pesquisa, ressaltando que uma abordagem l&#250;dica lhes propicia uma situa&#231;&#227;o de maior espontaneidade e de constru&#231;&#227;o narrativa de si. As an&#225;lises revelam, por um lado, o aporte do m&#233;todo de pesquisa utilizado para compreender os modos como as crian&#231;as convivem com uma doen&#231;a cr&#244;nica desde a tenra idade, e, por outro, que contrariamente &#224; figura de "paciente", elas descortinam suas aprendizagens experienciais no conv&#237;vio com os tratamentos, o que permite concluir sobre sua capacidade de reflex&#227;o, entendimento, e potencialidades de a&#231;&#227;o em que se ressaltam formas de coopera&#231;&#227;o e de resist&#234;ncia.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract What do children with chronic disease say about the ways they live with prolonged and painful treatments? What do they reveal, in narratives, about their capacity to reflect, about lessons they've learned and resilience, when facing illness? This article discusses results of research developed from an (auto)biographical perspective with children in two situations: hospitalized and in clinics undergoing chemotherapy treatments. In this article, we describe the procedures involved in dialoguing with children as an important part of research ethics, noting that a playful environment enables their spontaneity and ability to construct their own narrative. The analysis reveals, on the one hand, the methodological framework used to understand the ways in which children live with chronic illness from very young ages, and on the other hand, contrarily to the "patient" picture, unveils their learning experiences in the daily 'living with' treatments that allow us to conclude about their capacity for reflection, understanding and potentials for action in which stands up in terms of cooperation and resistance. ]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen &#191;Qu&#233; dicen los ni&#241;os con enfermedades cr&#243;nicas sobre sus formas de (con)vivir con tratamientos prolongados y dolorosos? &#191;Qu&#233; revelan, narrativamente, sobre su capacidad de reflexi&#243;n, aprendizaje y superaci&#243;n frente a la enfermedad? Este art&#237;culo discute resultados de investigaciones desarrolladas bajo una perspectiva de investigaci&#243;n (auto)biogr&#225;fica con ni&#241;os, en dos situaciones: en hospital y en cl&#237;nicas donde reciben quimioterapia. Describimos los procedimientos de interlocuci&#243;n con los ni&#241;os como parte importante de la &#233;tica de investigaci&#243;n, resaltando que un enfoque l&#250;dico propicia una situaci&#243;n de mayor espontaneidad y de construcci&#243;n narrativa de s&#237;. Los an&#225;lisis revelan por un lado el aporte del m&#233;todo de investigaci&#243;n utilizado, para comprender c&#243;mo los ni&#241;os conviven con una enfermedad cr&#243;nica desde temprana edad, y por otro lado, muestran que contrariamente a la figura de "paciente", ellos mismos manifiestan sus aprendizajes experimentales en contexto de tratamiento, lo cual permite sacar conclusiones acerca de su capacidad de reflexi&#243;n, entendimiento y potencialidad de acci&#243;n, donde se resaltan formas de cooperaci&#243;n y de resistencia. ]]></p></abstract>
