Tem como objetivo compreender os significados na vida cotidiana de travestis e transexuais com base em suas experiências na EJA. Os estudos de Arroyo (2014, 2017), Bento (2011), Freire (1996, 2001, 2018), Hooks (2017, 2019), Oliveira (2017, 2020), e outros/ as, contribuíram para a investigação. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, que ressalta a produção de (trans)pesquisadoras e analisa as escrevivências (Evaristo, 2020) das cartas-corpo escritas por autoras-participantes. Os principais resultados permitem apontar que as reflexões transpõem as relações de gênero, que se fundam em uma matriz colonial de poder, tendo na produção do saber, viver, sentir e existir a reprodução da lógica binária homem/mulher como um instrumento de dominação. Além disso, as experiências vividas e as vozes insurgentes constroem suas &#8220;cosmopercepções&#8221; de gênero e de educação, evidenciando o que enfrentaram na escola e na vida, com estratégias de transgressão e resistência.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT We present here a doctoral study in youth and adult education (EJA) that addresses issues of gender and sexuality experienced by transvestite and transgender students. The main goal is to understand the meanings in the daily lives of transvestites and transsexuals based on their lived experiences in EJA. The studies of Arroyo (2014, 2017), Bento (2011), Freire (1996, 2001, 2018), Hooks (2017, 2019), Oliveira (2017, 2020) and others have contributed to this research. It is a qualitative research that highlights the production of (trans) researchers and analyzes the writings (Evaristo, 2020) of body letters written by author-participants. The main results allow us to point out that the reflections implement gender relations based on a colonial matrix of power, which in the production of knowledge, in life, in feeling and in existence have the reproduction of the binary logic man/woman as an instrument of domination. Furthermore, lived experiences and insurgent voices build their &#8220;cosmoperceptions&#8221; of gender and education by revealing what they have experienced in school and in life, with strategies of transgression and resistance.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Se presenta un estudio de tesis doctoral sobre la Educación de Jóvenes y Adultos (EJA) articulado con las cuestiones de género y sexualidad vividas por estudiantes travestis y transexuales. El objetivo del trabajo es comprender los significados de las experiencias de EJA en la vida cotidiana de travestis y transexuales. Este trabajo se fundamenta en las contribuciones de Arroyo (2014, 2017), Bento (2011), Freire (1996, 2001, 2018), Hooks (2017, 2019), Oliveira (2017, 2020), entre otros. A través de una investigación cualitativa que destaca la producción de (trans)investigadores y analiza las escrituras de cartas corporales escritas por las autoras participantes (Evaristo, 2020). Los principales resultados señalan que las reflexiones van más allá de las relaciones de género, que se fundan en una matriz colonial de poder, teniendo en la producción de conocimiento, viviendo, sintiendo y existiendo la reproducción de la lógica binaria hombre/ mujer como instrumento de dominación. Además, las experiencias vividas y las voces insurgentes construyen sus &#8220;cosmopercepciones&#8221; de género y educación, destacando lo que enfrentaron en la escuela y en la vida, con estrategias de transgresión y resistencia.]]></p></abstract>
