Há tempos um movimento social não expressava tamanho poder de mobilização, ruptura e resistência no Brasil quanto as ocupações escolares. Este artigo recupera alguns aspectos da resistência à política de reorganização escolar no estado de São Paulo, entre 2015 e 2016, e discute as estratégias de resistência surgidas das ocupações, alicerces para uma renovação das lutas por uma educação democrática no Brasil. Particularmente, tratamos da interação entre os movimentos estudantis, as universidades públicas e o sistema de justiça no contexto das ocupações escolares. Conforme dito no artigo, tal articulação constituiu um campo fértil de resistência e de solidariedade, de onde emergiu a Rede Escola Pública e Universidade (Repu). A Repu propõe o estreitamento das relações entre as universidades públicas e os movimentos de luta pela educação pública, constituindo espaço singular para a produção do conhecimento e para a ação política cujos limites e potencialidades são apresentados e discutidos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The uprising of secondary school students in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, is related to a type of collective action that, although recent, finds support in other anti-neoliberal and anti-capitalist movements of this century, with forms of action and organizational dynamics inspired by the autonomist repertoires. For a long time, no social movement had expressed such power of mobilization, rupture and resistance in Brazil as the recent school occupations. This article recovers some aspects of resistance towards the policy of school reorganization in the state of São Paulo, between 2015 and 2016, and discusses the resistance strategies that emerged from the occupations, pillars for a renewal of struggles for democratic education in Brazil. In particular, we consider the interaction between student movements, public universities and the justice system in the context of school occupations. As discussed in the article, this articulation constituted a fertile field of resistance and solidarity, from which emerged the Public-School and University Network (Repu). The Repu proposes a closer relationship between public universities and movements for the struggle for public education, constituting a singular space for knowledge production and political action whose limits are presented and discussed.]]></p></abstract>

Hace tiempo un movimiento social no expresaba tamaño poder de movilización, ruptura y resistencia en Brasil en cuanto a las ocupaciones escolares. Este artículo recupera algunos aspectos de la resistencia a la política de reorganización escolar en el estado de São Paulo, entre 2015 y 2016, y discute las estrategias de resistencia surgidas de las ocupaciones, pilares para una renovación de las luchas por la educación democrática en Brasil.
