<self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S1519-39932023000100203&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S1519-39932023000100203&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S1519-39932023000100203&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo Este artigo apresenta um mapeamento dos aspectos físicos das pesquisas brasileiras sobre o ensino e a aprendizagem de Probabilidade na Educação Básica produzidas no âmbito dos programas de pós-graduação stricto sensu na área de Educação e Ensino. A busca foi realizada em meio digital, no Catálogo de Teses e Dissertações da Coordenadoria de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior, na Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações e em acervos de currículos da plataforma Lattes de alguns pesquisadores. Foram encontradas 99 teses e dissertações, defendidas no Brasil entre maio de 1994 e junho de 2021, que abordam a Educação Probabilística na Escola Básica como tema de pesquisa. As pesquisas foram organizadas e codificadas em uma planilha do Excel® usando informações da ficha de leitura, como o ano de defesa, nome do autor, titulação acadêmica, orientador, instituição, programa de pós-graduação ao qual estavam vinculadas e banca examinadora. A partir das 78 dissertações e 21 teses encontradas foi possível observar um aumento significativo no interesse dos pesquisadores sobre Educação Probabilística na Escola Básica desde 2007. Todas as cinco regiões do Brasil apresentaram pesquisas, com ênfase na Região Sudeste, e São Paulo foi responsável pela maioria delas. Foram identificadas 31 universidades brasileiras que produziram teses e dissertações sobre o tema, com destaque para a Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. O programa de Educação Matemática apresentou o maior número de trabalhos defendidos, com 55 orientadores e 16 pesquisadores/orientadores centrais na produção nacional.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract In this article, present a possible mapping of the physical aspects of Brazilian research on the teaching and learning of Probability in Basic Education, produced within stricto sensu postgraduate programs in the field of Education and Teaching. We conducted a fully digital search through the Catalog of Theses and Dissertations of CAPES, the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations, and Lattes platform curriculum. 99 theses and dissertations were found, defended in Brazil between May 1994 and June 2021, which address Probabilistic Education in Basic School as a research topic. The surveys were organized and coded in an Excel® spreadsheet, using information from the reading sheet, such as the year of defense, author name, academic title, advisor, institution, postgraduate program, and examining board. We observed a significant increase in researchers&#8217; interest in Probabilistic Education in Basic School since 2007, based on the 78 dissertations and 21 theses found. All five regions of Brazil presented research, with emphasis on the Southeast region and São Paulo was responsible for the majority of them. We identified 31 Brazilian universities that produced theses and dissertations on the topic, with emphasis on Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. The Mathematics Education program presented the highest number of defended works, with 55 advisors and 16 central researchers/advisors in national production.]]></p></abstract>
