Utilizaram-se como referenciais teóricos autores como: Shirley Grundy, Paulo Freire, Henry Giroux, entre outros. A metodologia de pesquisa qualitativa construtiva interpretativa consistiu em um levantamento bibliográfico acerca do objeto de estudo, bem como na realização de entrevistas com alguns professores envolvidos nesse processo curricular. Como resultados deste trabalho, apresentam-se como ocorreu o surgimento da &#8220;Cátedra por Nariño&#8221;, seu desenvolvimento, a conexão da proposta curricular alternativa com as lutas sociais da época, a expansão do projeto dentro de Nariño e a maneira como finalizou.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The objective of this article is to analyze the development of the alternative curricular proposal called &#8220;Cátedra por Nariño&#8221; implemented in the 1980s in Nariño, Colombia. To achieve the objectives, several theoretical references were utilized, such as Shirley Grundy, Paulo Freire, Henry Giroux; among others. The methodology of research is qualitative-constructive-interpretative, a bibliographic study was made, as well interviews with some involved teachers in this curricular process. As a product of this work, it is presented how the &#8220;Cátedra por Nariño&#8221; emerged and developed, and also the connection of the alternative curricular proposal with the social struggles of the time as well as the expansion of the project within Nariño, and the way how it ended.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen En este artículo se analizó el desarrollo de la &#8220;Cátedra por Nariño&#8221; implementada en los años de 1980 en el Departamento de Nariño, Colombia, a partir de los participantes de esa cátedra. Se utilizaron como referenciales teóricos autores tales como: Shirley Grundy, Paulo Freire y Henry Giroux, entre otros. Con base en la investigación cualitativa interpretativa, se hizo un estudio bibliográfico acerca del objeto de estudio, y se realizaron entrevistas con algunos profesores participantes en el proceso curricular mencionado. Como resultados de este trabajo se construyó como fue el surgimiento de la &#8220;Cátedra por Nariño&#8221;, su desarrollo, la conexión de la propuesta curricular alternativa con las luchas ciudadanas de la época, la expansión del proyecto dentro de Nariño y la manera como se finalizó.]]></p></abstract>
