No estudo, refletimos sobre a mediação pedagógica docente facilitada por tecnologias digitais, analisamos como o aplicativo Book Creator favorece editar e compartilhar textos multimodais. Na sequência, discutimos os textos produzidos no aplicativo sob premissas da abordagem qualitativa interpretativista. Depreendemos que mudanças nas práticas sociais demandam novas práxis pedagógicas, implicando transformações no currículo para que contemple políticas linguísticas de enfrentamento das desigualdades e injustiças visando o desenvolvimento da cidadania crítica e promovendo uma educação linguística socialmente relevante.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract In this article we discuss the multimodal production of chronicles by ninth grade students during the remote teaching period caused by the Covid-19 pandemic from the perspective of multilingualism and critical literacy. In the study, we reflect on the pedagogical teaching mediation facilitated by digital technologies, we analyze how the Book Creator application favors editing and sharing multimodal texts. Then, we discuss the texts produced in the application under the premises of the interpretativist qualitative approach. We deduce that changes in social practices demand new pedagogical practices, implying transformations in the curriculum so that it contemplates linguistic policies of confrontation to inequalities and injustices aiming at the development of critical citizenship and promoting a socially relevant linguistic education.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen En este artículo discutimos la producción multimodal de crónicas por alumnos del noveno grado de primaria durante el período de enseñanza a distancia causado por la pandemia de Covid-19 desde la perspectiva del multilingüismo y la alfabetización crítica. En el estudio, reflexionamos sobre la mediación pedagógica didáctica facilitada por las tecnologías digitales, analizamos cómo la aplicación Book Creator favorece la edición y compartición de textos multimodales. En la secuencia, discutimos los textos producidos en la aplicación bajo las premisas del enfoque cualitativo interpretativista. Deducimos que los cambios en las prácticas sociales exigen nuevas prácticas pedagógicas, implicando transformaciones en el currículo para que contemple políticas linguísticas de confrontación a las desigualdades e injusticias apuntando al desarrollo de una ciudadanía crítica y promoviendo una educación lingüística socialmente relevante.]]></p></abstract>
